Hi st11 owners..

I am wondering is it ok for me to use st11 as a daily bike?

How is the FC and will ST11 be able to go through the gap at free carparks like suntec and plaza singapura?

Thanks

Its possible to use St11 as a daily bike. Only question to you is, do you work office hrs and which road or E way do you use. If peak hrs, sometimes it takes a little effort if u wanna squeeze through traffic. It does get hot but nt as hot as EFI engines.

I have tried Suntec and Plaza sing carpark. No problem, just take note of humps esp if u haf pillion. ST would be the biggest bike which can squeeze through barriers.

Have fun riding ST11!!

Cheers mate...

I miss my Spec II...

Can try Ah Hai at Sin Boon Motors at Admiralty Street.

Ah Hai did major repairs on my ride up to $1700, eg. water pump, timing belt, roller bearings, thermostat, coolant hose, valve clearance, service carburator etc... :thumb:

Thanks for the tip bro. I've actually been to Sin Boon a few times previously for my FJR & also to seal my puncture for my ST recently. I felt neutral and wasn't sure if they did major works on big bikes regularly enough as I didn't see big bikes there whenever I was there. But having read the good feedback from you guys, I think it's worth a shot. Was worried earlier coz I may need major works due to the wear & tear related to the bike's age, and I wanted to get good value for money without getting ripped off. Will check it out end of this mth when I have some cash to spare.

I went to Sin Boon for a quote of a full check-up. Ah Huat, the old man, whom I think is the boss, came up with a long list and estimated bill of abt $1800. Scary man. Also asked abt rear tyre, and he quoted BT01 at $230 & Pilot Road 2 at $250.

Any tips for better tyre deals?

Am using PR2 front, Macadam Rear

so far so good and during wet surface on road dont feel the slippiness

most ST using Metz Z6

GOPA currently out of stock for Z6 can try asking Sin Boon

Ok, will ask when I roll in for my big works end of this mth. But any place with better prices for the tyre? Seems a little high.

On another note, anyone know a rider going by F*9933*? Looked dark metallic pink in colour. Saw rider on KJE one evening last wk & rider gave me a friendly wave & a honk. Waved back but not sure if I was seen.
