Hi all SBF guys,

Been riding my bike quite sometime.. this is the only time i have problem..

My bike is KR150.. 2B bike..

When I rev, RPM 4++, the signal lights blink faster until electrical actually run to another signal light and causes it to blink as well.. but when at stationary w/o any rev.. The signal is normal..

btw, verify that the light that transferred.. is only the front signal.. back signal remains the same.. (left is left/right is right)

Dismantle my entire bike in the afternoon on 7th feb and checked.. all wiring for the signal light seems ok..

my front 2 signal lights is leds.. back 2 is bulbs.. tried to changed all to bulbs.. during normal riding, the signal light blink so fast that the light seems to be on*no blink.. but no electrical "runs" over to another signal light causing it to blink as well...

Things done to try to settle...

1) relay is brought brand new from LAB because i tot it's relay's issue.. So the relay should not be an issue.. *1st day

2) hazard light rewired.. *2nd day

My main question is, how come the electrical will flow over to another front signal? thru where? or is it from the relay/hazard light switch? or? how do i stop it?

any comments that is helpful/constructive will be appreciated.. :)

This is my relay.

Mine same problem as yours. But all my signal is bulbs. Its 12v 10W x4.

If idling, my signal like dying.

problem is fixed for only 1 hour.. now same again... :(

will change another relay and change my light bulb that's located at the back.. i remembered the last thing i do is.. change 1 light bulb at the back.. den now.. one new one old.. new one bigger size.. old one small size.. maybe diff watt? thus causing the volt diff...

try change to all same type of bulb. n check the wattage of ur bulb... make sure doesnt exceed e wattage of the relay... from what i understand, led bulbs require less power, so thats why they blink very fast. :)

thanks for all the comments... :) but i need more information.. how? why?

mainly solution.. i can change all back to bulbs.. but it will consume more electrical.. and this is wat i dun wan to happen...

anyway, guys.. to resolve my issue..

I've re-assemble my hazard light, ground my signal light.. dismantle my tail light..

tot's it's speedo as when dismantle speedo, everything is fine..

but evenually, tested it's due to light bulbs diff in voltage in the tail light..

change the tail light signal light to original and now it works fine..

haix.. one whole big round goes back to square one... :(

yup.. fixed.. Only changed the tail signal light bulbs to original... The rest remains the same.. :) The only thing is.. I've spend closed to 4 days total of around 20 hours to resolve something that's so small.. :(

to use a smaller bulb for signal, u will hav to add additional impedance to the relay for it to work properly..

cos most relay for signal based on the total impedance of the signal system to determine the blinking rate..

thanks for the advise.. it's not the blinking rate.. it's the electrical flow that's too much and actually flow until another signal light.. :)

anyway, thanks alot.. however, how to add additional impedance? care to share abit more on this?

Impedence is resistance for the current to flow. U can purchase a pair of solid state impedenceis from motoworld at 5 bucks.. As the led or small bulbs hav less impedence than stock bulb.

Is impedence a resistor? Resistor resist the current flow.

wiring causes headaches!

I learned electronics, it's not the same as in handling 12v to the ground. I only learned everthing fix back to the (-).

This will help to explain wat is impedance..

eletronics remind mi of node equation and loop equation..

ok, borrow the thread for my signal problem..

my bike signals are stock, other than the addition of a hazard light switch.

just recently, signalling right having issues. RIGHT FRONT signal will flash at a very fast rate, but the REAR RIGHT will not be on at all. this will happen from time to time, sometime after flashing rapidly for awhile, it will be back to normal..

Left signal is working perfectly alright for both front and rear, no issues.

hazard signals are working perfectly as well.

any idea what is the issues? i suspect is fuse or relay issue.

any pros here can diagnose it based on above?

Stock is good...Choose your weapon wisely and enjoy it...you can have all the $$$$ to mod and in the end you can't make full use of it....

check that the connection to the relay is not loose..

check the rear right bulb.. sometimes is the filament is abt to break..
