Hi everyone, would like to ask u guys, or if anyone can direct me to some post regarding RVFs.. I tried searching RVF but got nothing leh..

 

May i know wat are the workshops that most of u go to service ur RVFs..? I'm most likely looking for trustworthy workshops tat won't anyhow chop chop.. intend to rebuild a RVF but no idea where to do it...

 

I just started riding bike again.. the last time i rode my previous xr4 was in 2004 and my previous fireblade in 2000... still haven't ride the dream RVF.. ehehe now riding phantom 150cc..

 

well back to the RVF.. i'm looking for posts on wat to do for a rebuid.. would 3-6K be enough to rebuild a RVF from scratch..? I just want replace all the wear and tear parts even if it not spoilt.. keep it as stock as possible, except maybe for a LTA approved muffler secondhand.. intend to keep renew the bike COE in 2017 or when ever COE drops below 1000..

Maintenance is just like any 400cc bike. For a decade-old bike, definitely there are some parts that require replacement (electricals, cluth plates etc). Maybe the parts are a bit costlier compared to the superfour or cbr, but who doesnt dream of riding an rvf eh?

 

Those people who say its ****ed up, i think they are the f***ed up ones.

 

Wanna know whats f***ed up? Paying 14k-16k for a 125cc "big-bike-wannabe" sportsbike
