eh just wanna ask what will happen if my rvf is equiped with factory pro jet kits but one of the main jet is of different size meaning to say wrong size... its from previous owner.... does it cause the idling problem??

its been so long...

Posted
anyway can i check for our bikes... if idling rpm goes higher den 1500 will have a problem of when rpm coming down will slow down when at around rpm 2000 to 1500??

cos mine have tis problem... if my idling goes higher den 1500 or 1500rpm... if idling is at around 1300 or around there wun have tis problem but the idling like not very stable... meaning the needle will move a little very very slight movement only... need some advise here... went down to bike shop and mech says my idling too high nidda set to 1000 or 1100 i feel its a bit too low...

idling with needle movement is common, especially when the bike is cold. why you want high idling? I think 1.3k enough already.

Practical Test Checklist:

√ Sudden and late braking

√ Faulty signal lights

√ Superb use of horn

√ Assume road belongs to father

√ Never at fault no matter what happens

√ Tailgating confidence

Result: YES! You qualify to become a Singapore car driver!

hmm... icic... but my bike when its warmed or hot the idling needle movement is quite obvious and also at 1.3k... sometimes it ll drop to 1.1 when i throttle and let go... went back to bike shop and check and notice is one of the jet kit is different size... mech told me that if change is either change back to stock jet kit or get another new set of factory pro jet kits... any recommendations??

im looking to buy an RVF..

any advice on choosing an RVF?

wad to look out for? wad are some common RVF problem?

wads is an average fuel consumption of an rvf(km/litre)

how is RVF's reliability for daily use? heard rvf heat up very fast... is the heating up manageable or does it burn ur thigh?

how to tell NC35 or 30 and all.. wad does all these figures mean?

2010 july 10-sept 14: Daelim Roadwin 125

electrical... make sure the wirings are of proper conditions, magnetic coils and rectifier all charging...

check for any leakages like coolant leak, engine oil or even petrol etc.

hear for any weird sounds when the bike is idling or when throttle to rpm ard 3 to 4...

yea thats all i guess...

wads is an average fuel consumption of an rvf(km/litre)

eh depends on how you ride and set the carb setting.... mostly can last around 200km to 250km per full tank b4 reserve average

how is RVF's reliability for daily use? heard rvf heat up very fast... is the heating up manageable or does it burn ur thigh?

all big bikes burn ur thigh =) if you wanna ride big bike its like that... class 2 bikes even worst... gonna understand that... reliability is there unless you didn't do up the bike well either way this bike is different from those you ridden b4.. (as seen from your signature) it is quite high maintenance compared to those...

how to tell NC35 or 30 and all.. wad does all these figures mean?

NC35 is the model no. like for eg.

RVF400 = nc35

CBR400RR (fireblade model) = nc29

NC30 is the predecessor of RVF400 which is VFR400

hope you can understand... for more understanding you can go lta ONE MOTORING website search the registration info of any RVF using their no. plate and you can see the chassis no. engine model and the bike model etc. there will state nc35.........., some random no.

since i see your signature,

advice for u is ... dun bother abt buying RVF ,

jus save up and then buy your R6,GSXR 600 or cbr 600 .

in fact buying big bike to ride in sinapore or the occasional MY soil is so wastful ...
