Carpark MotoGP anyone? (...RC that is!!)

I started a thread on Offroad RC bike earlier, tot I start one on RC motoGP.

 

Pictured here are my 1/8 scale rides. Dont look down on their small formfactor they race like the real ones.

They can balance ah on thier 2 wheels ?

How fast can they go ?

How much ?

And must assemble ourselves ?

The one featured in the video is called the Oto-Bike T258 pro-racer. It's fully custom built and I order it online.

 

The 2 other ones are the Kyosho HOR (Hang-on-rider). These bike are very realistic on the moves. The rider move and leans as the bike turn.

Tamiya dont produce them accept static display pieces. Brands like Kyosho, Nova Faor, Bergonzoni.....most made in Italy.

 

For realism, I like the Kyosho best cos the rider can lean left to right when bike turns....watch it in my earlier reply!!

 

The price starts from abt 200+++ for a complete bike all the way to over S$1000 for the Italian ones.

 

Kyosho comes unassembled, unpainted. For a beginner, it's good to start with the kyoshos before moving on to the pro bikes.

 

Speed for these bikes varies, depending on the motors you spec in. These bikes on actual scale speed can be very fast reaching speed about 60mph.

And yes the music...it's called "The Scorponok Divide" from Transformer 2. When Linkin Park and Steve Jablonsky merge 2 songs (Scorpion and The new divide), spark flies...it sounded good.

Not every run is perfect. Here're the thrills and spills at PA - er sometimes more spill and thrill. Even Jedi Master also made mistakes.

The bike ranges between S$350++ all the way to about S$1000 for a ready-to-run bikes.

 

Dont look down on the 350++ bikes, they run fast, tough as nut and damn shiok.
