well spent Sunday..

morning.. spent 2 hours to change exhaust.. actually, 10 minute to take out, 10 minute to fix.. but i need to use bracket (given by AJ to lower the pipe due to fat side cases). so bracket doesnt fit correct, exhaust touching swing arm, adjust here, adjust there..

and finally i need 2 secews for bracket, called Take How and he said he might have.

so off to his place, fixed the screws... and here we are...

TH suggested to take out baffles..

and damn.. they are huge..

after that... we went for bike wash..

but still not satisfy after bike wash as we thought our TDMs need more paper than 5$ wash.. so we decided to give some hand job (polish)

and since we are at it.. we decided to do up TH's fairing crack.

and we took video of LV and Scorpion sound without baffles.. but i tried to play it and find it not so nice, cant capture the real bassy tune.

Wah...so many chitchating...

I just got back...wet all over....take how still can call me to ask what tyre to fit on the rear....basket...

wah kmax...nice set of cans...

Ans and pbs...tanks for the maps,lonely planet and the tips...end up we didn't get to use all the infos...becoz the Angmokia on the ktm adv needs to go back early...and at Ranong,i believed he started to miss his wife so badly that he keeps wanting us to head down and down....even i suggest go to Kohsamui falls on deaf ears...

from Ranong,we did a very serious off-roading climbing many stories high hills,coming down big rocky never ending slopes,and after 1hr of riding,we're lost...the GPS ain't helping...there's no network on our phones....and to make things worst,I am the only 1 carrying 1 1.5ltr of Mineral water.

It's in deep forest of Ranong Canyon.We were saved by some Thais on a 4x4 Triton or DMX doing some off-roading...they gave us some water....and showed us the way out...even the 10km exit,was like neverending misery..

So to sum up the whole thing,we rode all the way down to Hatyai and reached there by night.Next day,we rode back to Sadao,wanted to go by Betong,but was told that it's not safe.So once exited Sadao,we use the small roads using the Angmoh's GPS finding our way to Gerik...

By the time we reach Gerik's corner,it was too dark to see any views,so basically we were attacking every corners in the dark.

Until we came across some lakes,and found ourselves staying a night at Belum Rainforest resort...

Just to check,did the K's ever did spend a nite there?becoz the dude there told us about some bikes toppling over each other becoz of the sunken tar on the mainstand...sounds like PBS TDM fall over Hayabusa rite?and Virus Bandit650...

i saw that on ur FB, just curious AJ, you have 2 touring bikes in parking TDM and Vara yet why you choose to take XR ?

i saw that on ur FB, just curious AJ, you have 2 touring bikes in parking TDM and Vara yet why you choose to take XR ?
