yup. cut the seat. cut both the centre and the sides. It can be low but broad. Will still give you trouble touching the ground.

 

I do get your idea.

However, if cutting the seat still gives trouble to toe on the ground, then would not it be better NOT to cut the seat? Then, keep sliding the butt to each side whenever the bike comes to a stop. This is what I have been doing on my current ride.

 

Anyway - to all you TDM forumers - Have a happy long weekend!!! I think many bikers are going up M'sia this weekend!

hmm..then test ride other people's bike first. All the TDMs have different seats I guess. But if you have a skinny seat, might not be comfortable for long rides as I found out. But I rather have my 2 feet or toes at least on the ground when needed than having to slide. Imagine 2 side boxes full but different weight plus pillion. Not gonna be an easy task sliding butts. Plus it's not cool at traffic lights man. NOT COOL!. hahaha

give me 1mth ok...but just to let you noe hor,i wont be riding with the same company again...got few keyboard warriors...
