Hmm its just personal preference I guess.. I am not going to compare the bikes as I believe each has their own pros & cons. When I first wanted to buy a bike, I was really hell-bent on getting an R125, however at that point in time, due to budget constraints, I settled for the R15. Had I waited a little more till I could actually afford a R125, I would not be regretting the decision today.. Going on outings with the fellow R125 brothers, I can't help but to envy their ride cause of its sportier design, 'sports-feeling' as I sit on one, the various brands of exhaust system readily and officially available for it and of course the performance parts that comes along in a stock R125 (and many more). All these I didn't know then when I put my signature on the transfer papers of my R15.. All I had in my mind was that it meets my budget and I wanted a ride..quickly! lol.. But to cut the long story short, I always advice to those that are looking for their first bike, always go what you really want and not necessarily make a tight-budget kind of choice. Take your time to choose a bike, explore all possibilities and once you set your mind and heart on one, go all out to get it..even if you have to wait, scrimp and save $$ to get that bike that you really want.. :)

when this happen?o_O you all went on sunday ar? woah never tell.

No ah bro, heard from Josh that marcus went to PG yesterday..

Shacks. How come your situation is so so so alike mine? XD

I was determine to lay my hands on R125 until the price tag bit me. Did my maths (since I am still a year 1 student in uni) and realized I simply cannot afford 200 odd a month. (maybe need to factor in petrol, 'upgrades' :p, reserve for maintenance)..

And I kinda could only like work one day a week only. :/

My concern is addition cost that comes with the installment. Like.. fuel, servicing.. such.

Grats! an Welcome!

running in is simple but very challenging.. hahaha

juz remember... BE PATIENT!!!!

ok.. with tht aside,

use full mineral oil

1st 500km, keep ur rpm under 6K

500km to 1000km, keep rpm under 8K

avoid hard acceleration during this period

change engine oil at 1000km to mineral oil

rev ur engine freely through the gears and avoid prolong hard acceleration

2000km change oil to whatever you want...

there... good engine run in to last u a long long time... any other questions, feel free to ask

in God we trust... all others pay CASH...

yes guys.. i'm doin ok... knee guards didn;t work... so yes... invest in a suit.. ok the track, its not a matter of if u will fall... its more like when will u fall...

reason i slid out was too low pressure in tyres.. lesson learned...

bike is working, juz waiting for the replacement sliders to come in, n the footrest to be made..

will only be back on track aft i get the suit.. everywhere no stock for my size... haiz... too fat

lolol... ride safe guys
