Gilera runner VXR200

i was wondering, is it hard to maintain? as in how much will it be total up, to the normal maintanece of a 2b bike.

 

and gilera vxr200 have alot of verions, i dont really know which is good n what are their looks.

 

i wanna get it, but alot my frens say its expensive to maintain.

help me with yr comments, guides n some pictures?

Just bought an st200 and am lovin it!

The new one is ST200.. Specs are the same as VXR200.. but the only flaws is in the Petrol Cap.. Water can get in easily.. but u just need to put a plastic petrol cap over it and it'll be ok. Easily available at bike shops. Maintenance wise if u're buying it 1st hand shudn't be a prob. Its just the parts and accesories are exp. Compared to other smaller bikes..

servicing is just like any other 2B2A/2 bike

 

factor in changing chain & sprockets & you'll get a rough idea.

 

Monthly EO change is the bare minimum (same as any other bike)

 

12 000 km change belt etc same as changing sprockets, chain etc

maintenance wise is not very expensive, been riding one for 2 years and sold it away a few months back. Take good care of the engine and it won't give you problem.

Last time wen my gf owned dis bike, she had e old gilera runner and i always accompanied her to wkshop. Personally, i felt dat maintenance is higher wen u compared to other 2b 4 stroke bikes, but overall quite cheap wen u compared to class 2a/2 bikes.
