any fellow S10 bros using tank bag? any brand/location to purchase as there is no compartment on the S10 then my wallet/phones got no place put while riding. ;p

 

I done some research on tank bag from various brand. But due to the nature of the bike it leans more towards a adv tourer, I initially was eying on the touratech tank bag like those mounted on the gsa1200 + S10 tank bag from yamaha + S10 tankbag from touratech..

 

But due to the price consideration of spaces + COST, I side track to wolfman rainner instead, It not too over priced and practical enough from me + able to transfer the harness to other bike as well.

 

Too bad locally no vendor for this brands, So i shipped in myself.

i reckon most riders would have at some moment of time, prefer to have the right bag for the right ride at different times hence it almost near impossible to have the perfect bag for all purpose.

 

so it either a compromise choice or a seperate bags for different type of riding.

 

i would love to have a mid size tank bag with map holder while a small(3L-5L) pounch type of tank bag for local riding.

 

good thing is...still have 1day till friday collection...bad thing is..running out of sleeps & $$...lol

Super Tenere is an adventure tourer not a sports tourer bro ... We don't need a glove compartment nor a reverse gear . Even the BMW GSA don't have such features . R u sure u getting the right bike ? I guess u must have owned a Goldwing before . These S10 is pretty heavy with the factory setups , with our add ons , it'll be heavier.

 

But despite it's 260 kg weight , the bike perform well off road . Tried it last week for my ride to Endau Rompin Selai . Only setback is the engine temperature ... The fan keep cutting in during the slow speed ride . Maybe need to change the coolant .... Have anyone changed to Engine Ice ?

Try riding the bike at factory setup first , maybe u dun need those items.

as for the left side hot air. would u think a deflector mount on the fairing will help to deflect the hot air?

actually will the hot air be directed to the legs or outwards??

 

if outwards then ok..

like FJR, 1st version the hot air is blowing the legs ones.. later version then improve to blow downwards..

 

I would go for Maxima Coolaide.. Bike's coolant very easy to DIY.. after draining the old coolant, flush with 2 bottles of distilled water, then top up to brim with new coolant..

Do u mean the wind deflector on the top ? That's more for the side wind blast . U can still feel warm air coming out in between the left fairing and the tank . But it's not that hot that can cook ur leg.
