Sorry man... My heart cannot take that kinda 1 bid 20% movement.... made 1 wrong move and stuck for 5 yrs before....

 

Play small here and there la. Don't put all your eggs in one basket. I'm quite down on one penny counter too. But the others cover it.

 

Anyway, today is a bad day. Red almost all across the board.

Seems that only the warrants are green.

but then again, just hop over to the nearest casino and wack the whole wad down on either player or banker, that should get the heart pumping.

Actually I'm playing small over a spread of pennies. :p

So small + small + small + small + etc = kinda medium :angel:

sounds exactly like buying the no. 4,5,6,15,16,17 and specific triple on the SICBO table.

 

prob not make any on the short run but hit one, & it more than covers the previous rounds.

LOL Sort of. Throw the dice and see how it goes. Of course, you don't just anyhow throw the dice la. :angel:

I scored a major hit one on of the counters. Should have sold it off last week. But well, I didn't... now it's diminished somewhat. Will see what tomorrow brings. May have to sell it off and just take whatever I have for now.

Still in man. Like I said. Diminished profits. Had 100% last week. Now 50%.

even my defensive stuff took a hit today.

 

luckily i was taking profit all along.

 

Today took some more profit and then went into some high octane stuff.

 

Tomorrow, see how, maybe buy more.

SSE and SZE still negative. Those loan restrictions must really be biting them.

 

HSI was initially rising, but seems to have plateau'ed somewhat. May be a red afternoon again. Dammit. I was hoping for a slight rise.

 

Anyway, my sell is in the queue. Let's hope it bites. Sell volume looks set to rise.

anyway been a great experience these couple of weeks.. taught me how technical analysis may be inaccurate when some people open their mouths... caused i relied on technical analysis for all my previous trades and it never failed me...

well, there is no one foolproof method that works 24/7 all year, every year.

 

the markets in the last 5yrs have evolved across the board, equities, commodities, forex, etc in regards to trending and especially volatility in consolidation phases.

sorry bro, but i beg to differ, TA isnt incorrect, if U actually do REALISE, there's huge resistance at DOW=10590 area. of course U can also try to argue that its due to Obama's talk, but the good TA guys I know, have been shorting futures heavily last week at that area, and made tons!! perhaps U did TA the wrong way... ?

 

Looks like 2700 already... Healthy pull back.. Time to restock!

 

Interestingly, U treat this pull-back (correction) as a time to buy more, hmm... I'll treat today's pull-back (rally) as a time to short into the mkts! i guess either one of us has to be wrong.... :cheers:

 

With the STI down so heavily over the past 1 weeek, there must be some kind of a pull-back rally, at least due to short-covering (if U actually understand wat I mean).

 

One word of caution, the Trend for the STI has turned Weekly-Bearish. By the way, Any TA-guys here notice the Double-Top on the Daily chart, that had the confirmation signal on last Wed? which led to the big drop subsequently???

 

BTW, I still dont trade the STI, but would appreciate anyone that can offer me some suggestions as to where I could go to for cheap brokerages on CFDs, with a easy-to-use transaction platform? THANKS!

Cardtac, Try not to play contra, mst ppl lose their fortunes from contra...

 

They can't help it. Greed. The lure of easy money and availability of leverage.

 

That's why when the market drops, you can see the cascade effect of forced selling and margin calls.

 

I keep away from contra trading. Buy only what I can afford, and pay up at T+3.

 

 

If SGX implements T+1, I really would like to see how the market here changes.
