i heard IG and CMC charge lowest commission.. but they are not DMA.. they are market makers with own matching engine.

if so , it's best to get yourself an online trading platform.

the comms will be much lower than using a broker via phone.

ok... Direct Market Access is that when you enter order from internet page, it goes direct to market.

 

some are not like that, they have their own complicated software to match your order in their system for better or worse.

 

you can ask the broker once you open the account.

i'm looking at a good all-rounder online trading platform, most likely is to start trading in the singapore market for a start

since those that are not DMA might have some hidden agenda or motive.
