Yes..rebuilding it after that is just like new. The set of suspension would be totally dismantled inindividual pieces, bad rubber damper be replaced, canister be refilled with nitrogen gas, rebound spacer for spring be added, old dampering oil be drained and washed off and refilled with new content..seal and whatever bad be replaced..all in including workmanship is at $240. Don't send to mototiam..they will qoute cheaper but the same person be doing it and you won't get what is of quality if you send direct to David at Teck Thye.

 

For your brake caliper problem..go to Ah Fook..he has to see what the actual problem is, checking is free and he will advise you according..do or never do never mind one lah..and not to worry..he don't carry parang..if have, its just a 1 inch pen knife lah...:angel:..but do say I send you there..or tell me when you going and see if I can accompany you to do the talking.

recently went to unique motors at ubi.. did x ring plus afam spockets at $280.. good buy...

Oh...I meant to say that your jets in the carbs may not be stock standard.

 

Btw...hope you tell Ram that your white smoke problem has been since day one (remember you did went back to him earlier)..he should rectifiied for you free..scare the spare he use may not be new parts leh..aiyoh :faint:

Its quite accurate by far for the low price compare to the more expensive one lah. If you want, no problem getting one for you. Installation and setup is easy but you have to come up with just a housing for it so as to protect it from long term exposure to the open weather.

ah pek with my bike set up by u hor....those 5 element , i went nshw try.....normally its clocked at 200km/h, after ur eo grounding n eps n stuff.....was clocked at 210km/h

will tis kinda things happen cause the engine is less stress??previous mileage hit 310km wif 15l liao weeeee............din hold the 210 4 long cause the cross wind is killing me.....got box , bike sways too much.

Of course those stuff helps out with the best performance for your bike..that's taking away friction and great lubing and protection of gears by X-1R and the specially blended fully sync eo..while the eps aids in providing you the maxs sparking (supposing 25k Volts) that top end rev demands from the iginition coils. Also your magneto coil is safe if you have the magnet that keeps metal filing away from returning eo to the gear box.

 

One thing though..our bikes gets older by the day and fair wear and tear is always inevitable. Stay safe my friend..just know that your old bike and you did it at this speed liao..once should be enough. Do know that your family always needed at home when you have the urge to speed test. Take care brother! :)

'your jets in the carbs may not be stock standard' - ah pek,what do you suggest ar?now petrol increase also,very pain to pump so frequently.LOL:angel:

 

Anyway,called Ram regarding the white smoke problem on sat,he asked me to bring bike down on monday,today.yeah and i dont think i will pay a cent more since the problem surface since day one.

 

What i scare is if he going to open up and repair again,dont know if he will have to drain off the EO i just changed with you,especially with NANO in it.:faint:

DONT GO TO THIS BIKE SHOP!

 

This is what happened...

 

One month ago,i noticed 'sound' coming out from my engine. After checking with most shops,it is confirmed to be the cam-shaft that needs to be replaced which requires overhaul;most shops quoted me $2-3k for a full overhaul.However,as a student,i cant afford such high repair cost.

 

so fortunately,or should i say unfortunately,found THIS shop which is willing to just repair for me whatever needs to be replaced at my budget.And i was amazed that they did the overhaul within 2days and called me up to collect the bike.

 

After i have collected the bike,i realized there are white smoke coming out from my exhaust.when clarified with the boss, 'after overhaul EO is everywhere in the engine,it will goes off in few days', he explained.However,after about two weeks,i realized there are still white smoke coming out from my exhaust,when i called to question,the boss said it is okay.

 

So while hoping that the white smoke will go away,i noticed no different but instead,more white smoke at times even when riding.so basically when i ride on the road its like any 2stroke bike with loads of smoke but the sound of a s4.

 

Went to THIS shop today to make some noise just now,regarding the white smoke.All he can tell me is 'ohh,think your piston ring koyak already'..The fact is that we agreed that he will change the whole set of the damaged cam shaft which include the piston,piston ring,2pins,etc.i even have a witness with me who was at the scene as well.However,he claimed that we only agreed to change the camshaft(rod).my first reaction was wtf cost me $XXXX just to change the rod?

 

Also,when my bike was sent in for overhaul,there isnt even any white smoke but only the sound of the damaged cam shaft.right after overhaul,i have another problem - white smoke.This kind of shop can trust?who knows they deliberately spoil my piston rings so i can go back to them and get cheated more?so after all,i wasnt very surprise they can actually overhaul a s4 with just 1.5days to be exact,given such quality.

 

So from my conclusion,DONT EVEN GO TO THIS SHOP,not even going there to replace a missing redundant screw,cos you never know how they can cheat you!

Setup is different from point grounding which is not effective on bikes..car is ok...$75. Interested pm me.

Bring it to CASE...sure win one. Somemore..do business no receipt and costing break down..tax evasion issue. Never honor his service..and somemore you got reliable witness. Go!Go!Go!...:angel:

mine also........radiator coolant nt suppose to mix wif water 1 the shop mech go add.......i tink to save 4 usage 4 many bikes.....then b4 i noe it....3-4 mths i tink .....bloody rusty radiator wif little water inside.....practically its water.....nt radiator coolant.....lucky ah pek saved my ass.....reach his place the water boiling in the bike....water was gushing out from the excess pipe when i stopped at traffic light so afraid the whole engine explode ar lol
