wah bro where you taking your lessons? also contemplating to take up class 2 but thinking of going through the motions also sian. especially jamming on the circuit with L plates cars and 2b bikes on a hot day is no joke(CDC).

 

so im actually thinking of switching to SSDC as its sheltered so not that bad. any comments for SSDC, ie lesson slots are they like hard to book or something? or always full one like CDC?

 

about bike recommendation, i would suggest NC750x/NC700x, the bike is a reason i wanna take up class 2 also. good fuel econ, good storage space in front. add a box/side box is enough for you to go for a light tour. i think there is a bro in this forum who went up genting/cameron highland with his nc700x hence i think light touring shouldn't be a issue with it.

My superfour front brake pad only last 3 months, using SBS. thinking of changing to ebc but is much more ex. I think SBS only $20+ for 1 set, EBC abt $55 per set. What other brands can I get?

Is it true, coloured brake hoses cant pass inspection??? Cos currently using Hel brake hose yellow in colour.

VerS is quite a old bike. mostly 16years of age.. so basicialy u need to look out for expensive repairs.

 

example:

 

CDI (leaking or not )

Engine ( any top overhaul done)

Fork ( seals any leakage )

Coolant header ( coolant leaking or not )

alternator ( batt able to charge when throttle )

 

 

just to name a few... many many more to look out for..
