Good morning all..

Having to take my busa into the shop this morning. It's acting up a little bit almost like I have put some bad gas or something in it. Oh well the bike shop is close to me and the guy is inexpensive. Also I have the TRS Yoshi racing exhaust on the bike and they are way too quiet. I am going to have him remove the baffles from the exhaust to make the bike a bit louder. I am tired of cagers coming over on me because they don't look nor do the hear me.

I hope everyone's New Year celebration was awesome :)

i did my overhaul not too long ago..

changed pistons, rings, decarbonise the head, clean up exhaust port, change conrod and crankshaft journals (bearings), replaced all the water hoses and water pump, changed the transmission shift forks, transmission bearings, put in new set of transmission, considered to have swapped out most parts of the entire engine...

also i've change the entire wire harness and ECU... and all the bearings you can find on the bike along with the sprockets and chain...

that's a full overhaul and it's not cheap...

so see if you really interested in "overhauling" the engine... :goodluck:

So cost wise, we're looking at like how much? 3k? 5k?

200 Miles Per Hour, No Hands... Damn That Would Be Cool Right Before The Part Where You Die...

Bike History

2005 - Cagiva Mito 125

2007 - Daelim Daystar 125

2008/2009 - Piaggio X9 500

2017 - Triumph Speed Triple 1050

do a compression test first follow by a leak test..

then decide if you need to open up the engine... :thumb:

Compression and leak test?? Care to elaborate? How to go abt it? I intend to keep the bike for long term.. Guess u fork out abt 3k at least.. hmm..

Question...

Do you guys listen to music while you ride? I do sometimes but like I've said before, we have long open roads here so you can ride at a comfortable speed without really running into other cars on the road. So i bought some speakers for the helmet that fit up inside it and then plug them into a MP3 player.

Not sure what your laws are concerning that type thing there or if thats something anyone would feel comfortable doing. For me its nice because the ride can get so long and somewhat boring its good to have something to listen to.

u need a compression gauge to check compression..

i usually wear earplugs when going on long distances..

the wind noise is normally too loud for comfort...

Speaking of which, are there any helmets with built-in speakers?

Nolan 102N (2006 Model)

Nolan 103N (2008 Model available around March)

You have to purchase the "basic kit" that includes speakers and microphone and allows you to connect (wired) with MP3, intercom and mobile phone. Unless you buy extra (on top of basic kit) the N-COM which is bluetooth.

Cheers

it should sound nice if there no metallic ring to it...

this is a good alternative too if you like loud exhausts...

Right now its just the bolt on Yoshi TRS 3 Racing pipes.. I did not realize they would be so quiet but they are more so then my stock pipes where.

Thinking of getting a power commander for the bike and getting a new dyno map for it hopefully to gain about 10 more horse power from the engine.

beyond that, just getting some more chrome items then that should about do it. I wanted to get some custom air brush art for the bike but its very difficult to find a good air brush artist here.

sorry to burst your bubble.. but don't think you're gonna get 10 more horses from the TRS + power commander... :goodluck:
