Tyre repair kit small enough to stuff below the seat? I put rain coat only, and its almost full.... :faint:
I put standard tool kit, bike insurance, Log card, tyre repair kit, cargo webbing, 1 set of rain coat, gas tank stand, cable ties and sometimes with my ERP unit all together under the stock rear seat . If my bike is parked, 2 set of glove can go in also

If suzuki fit with "honda ignition security system", sure die lol

but i know got chip inside.

Haahahaha... That is for Honda huh?? I didn't know :cheeky: . Ok, ok... something along that line. In that case, not possible to make a duplicate other than getting the spare one from the agent.

I think it should be SAIS : Suzuki Advanced Immobilizer System.

Original new bike 2 keys mah, if still got loan, 1 owner and 1 for bike shop. Making duplicated I,m not sure how.

But got people with weird ideas, Make a duplicated key. Take original put near key hole, use dub key ignite. But not sure if the original key with chip take far away will cause bike to stall or not.

Some people suggest take original key put near the key hole all the time.

some people find LAB to make chip.

Some people find ways to disable the system

some people call agent to buy/ship extra key

some people just survive with 1 key and cant be bother with anything else. :D

The good thing about such key is that it makes your bike slightly safer. The bad thing is that duplicating such key easily cost up to $50... That's how much it cost to duplicate my honda spec 3 key last time... :sian:

Haha.. another con is if the chip or the system itself gets damaged. Anyone encounter that before?

Hey bro, what tyre is that? Mine going to be botak soon... time to do some research and gather some feedbacks on tyres.... :D

hey dude, i recently changed to a set of Michelin Pilot Power 2CT. my reviews on that is :thumb::thumb::thumb: very good grip with lots of control. especially in the corners, it gives you good feedback on how your bike is responding. the grip round the corners also exudes confidence. like the Sportec M3, it is also dual compound. it is available in 55mm profile so it is slightly more fun to have if you like the corners.

Sportec M3 has very good reviews but have yet to try it personally. I think keratsini is using those tyres. you may ask him for some opinions. however, generally, Metzler tyres are heavier that Michelin. dun believe, go HKL take both rear tyres and try. you will know what i mean :D :D

otherwise, if you are looking for something more "economical", which gives you more mileage and is a good tyre, can try the Michelin Pilot Power HPX. it is developed for Hyper sports bikes' speeds in mind. like ou Falcons or the Blackbird. it gives you superior stability when travelling at high speeds. generally, it is considered touring tyres, so it contains harder rubber compounds which will last longer, but do not provide the same kind of grip 2CT or M3 can give.

you can't have the best of both worlds. you decide. good luck :thumb:

i think the new Suzuki bikes with this technology requires price about $50-$60 to duplicate the keys too. it can be done at Guan Hoe Agent, Eunos there. :thumb:

Actually Michelin HPX is considered an old tyre technology already compared to the 2CT and the M3...

therefore the newer tyres will actually be able to give you the durability as well as the grip comparable if not better than the HPX... (juz look at the power outputs of the newer bikes and you would see the need for the release of such tyres)

There's no replacement for displacement except for a blower

your bike presently fitted with the hump or pillion seat? did u make a hole in your hump base plate so that u can store all those stuff? well, i did:cheeky: it gives more storage space..

ermm, once u place everything into the seat, get the L-shape hook in and ur seat will be 45 degree pointing up, then from far run towards your seat and jump damn bloody high and land ur arse on it, there it will firmly close in hehehe.......... :D

Ok will find a way to show u all how. maybe pics or video

Without the single seater/HUMP. Its fitted with pillion seat while storing those stuff.

I cant have the hump all the time coz i always has a pillion. I once think of cutting the hump's base plate but in the end gave up the idea :)

Thanx for the inputs~! Actually I'm looking at Pilot Road 2 too. More into durability since I hard do any hardcore cornering... :D

What are the reasonably priced shops for changing tyres?

HKL is out since I never had the intention to push my bike into that shop for whatsoever reasons... :p

Hey bro, what tyre is that? Mine going to be botak soon... time to do some research and gather some feedbacks on tyres.... :D

I've tried Michelin 2CT and currently fitted Metzeler M3. I do not recommend 2CT for a Hayabusa. Even though these are very good tyres are not made for Sports-Tourer bikes. When you enter the corner the bike "drops" for a sharp turn. That's very good for sports bikes that are lighter than Busas. I found these tyres not stady on the high speeds. There is nothing wrong with the tyres, it's just simply 2CT and Busas do not match. Metzeler M3 is made for Busas and are much stady on the high speeds with much smoother cornering. If your main concern is cornering then go for 2CT. If you push your bike to speeds that is build for, then go for M3.

Durability wise, 2CT will wear faster simply because of its grip (better grip faster wear). So far I've done 7000km on M3 and it seems it can last me for about 2000km more.

If you are looking for a tyre that has very good grip and durability then, there is none.
