not too sure about how much the hump will cost, but i ever lost my pillion seat which cost me about $180. so i guess the hump will be around this region or even more. in worst scenario, y2kredbull has a carbon fibre wrapped rear hump for sale. you can PM him to enquire. :thumb:

Sorry,i'm not selling it anymore.Bought the hump mod kit and now i use it to keep my raincoat.

FYI i have seen 1 busa which slided on a left corner in Malaysia with a screw on slider from motorworld or Motovation.

The length is quite smiliar to yours. The slider broke and went into the fairing. It got stuck inside the fairing.

Causes

-its a screw on slider

-the length is too short

:giddy: so what is the better alternative to this??

Don't be a SLAVE to a exhaust ... wasting money, time and efforts trying.

Do some reasearch, read some end users reviews and ask your biker friends who really know something.

Consider mods you may want to do in the near future otherwise select a pipe that suits your current engine power to provide you a nice powerband.

Sound and appearance is individual ...

All the best to you ... :)

Yup...thanks bro...that is what exactly Im doing now...collecting reviews/advices/opinions/feedback/comments etc and evaluating when the time comes when deciding the exhaust in 4 months time...:thumb: :thumb: :thumb:

I think any person installing sliders pray that these are of no use in any time during the life of the bike...I think they are more useful when the bike fall/skid during the bike was traveling between 0kmh to 100kmh....beyond that,I think sliders only wont be able to save the fairings but hopefully they can prevent the engine oil/clutch casing from cracking/broken...:) :faint: :faint: :faint:

tats the reason why i bought 3 diff endcan and try.. now i know i like which one best.. ppl will tell u differentl stories. but most of the time not true.. most of the they will tell u the one they using is the best becos they spend money on the equipment and dont want to lose face.. which is something i dont like.. so i rather spend money and learnt wat is suitable for me instead of listening blindly. :thumb:

For now,I only have to rely on consistencies of reviews...if,8 out of 10 people say its lousy, high chance its lousy..and vice versa.:thumb: :thumb:

caveat: you need to properly tune for the different exhausts that you are using.. the differences you are seeing in the different exhausts are not conclusive to its true performance capabilities...

:p

There's no replacement for displacement except for a blower

yup.. i would say its not a full movie but like a preview of wat it is capable of..

for eg.. the trc is good for low and mid esp strong at mid.. tuning wont change its characteristics to strong in top end..but if properly tuned the mid end can be even better. :thumb:

and also screen who u listen to.. chances are many ppl never use a product but hear ppl say its good then its good then will go ard saying its good or vice versa. the worst is the product is not so good but the owner will claim it to be the best so that he don lose face or he really dont know..

and lastly wats best for u may not be the best for someone else..

Well it got to depend up to individual.Whats are the requirements are you looking for.Outlook, protection, durability, price, fuctionality and etc.

actually, the tuning does make a difference to low, mid and high range.

1. improper tuning of the low end will cause a reluctance of the engine to rev from low to mid and that will affect the top end too..

2. assuming low end is ok, an improperly tuned mid range will lose the top end power too

3. finally assuming both low and mid range tuning are ok, you'll definitely know what you're missing up top

as your exhausts have different characteristics (which i fully agree) but the difference you are seeing is based on the tune for a stock exhaust system. That will give the wrong impression of what the individual exhaust is capable of. The one which you feel is the best exhaust is in fact simply the best exhaust suited for the stock tune of the bike. (where its flow characteristics/ wave tuning are the closest to the stock system).

so, even the "preview" you are watching may be for the wrong movie.. :cheeky:

I remember your trials is done are all on 4-2-1 system.

You had mislead totally trying out only end cans, dual exit does has a complete headers and midst section so as RS3 ad TRS. Full system are design with a different diameters headers, different length joints and bends. What you are doing is not getting a true system developed by the Yoshimura Exhaust Department, not to mention further like titatium and stainless steel materials has different heat expansion.

When a Factory release a exhaust claimed 10hp gain, they had already factor in the midst range 5hp lose detune by manufacturer for emission purposes.

Tuning is essential to maximise the hardware potiential.

There is a basic guidelines for getting your pipe to suits your engine power or vice verses if you do a search. Some of these guides already can gives you close answers like a slimmer, longer, chamber, straight flow and amount of back pressure.

The facts is the fact, we are here to share, correct and have fun.

Please no anger and there is no loosing face.

Everyday is a learning is process and take the posting postively. :)

haha...that means he will have to buy 3 different sets of full system and tune them individually to be able to give a correct interpretation of the power he is getting.... wah... that's expensive... :faint:

I'll stick with stock since mine is just a transport bike.... :D

eh.... sometimes movie previews are deceiving.... the preview can look damn impressive and seems like a good show... but when you watch the movie then realized its not as nice as its suppose to be... i'm sure everyone has this experience before... :cheeky:
