hi there.

i am considering on buying a 99 model hayabusa.

i heard that there are some manufacturer flaws on this 1st batch model.

mostly on Cam chain tensioner and sub frame.

would like to know who's riding 99 haya here? do u guys encounter such problem on ur hayabusa?

if yes, how do u guys fix it? by changing the CCT or has guan hoe recalled the model back previously?

another things i read about haya is the tyres wear out rate..how long does u most of the tyres u guys tried last?

i do like haya..on budget and is aiming a fr plate haya, so anione who haf info on 99 haya can post here and share.. =) and roughtly how much is the price of fR haya? 11k 12k? last mth got 1 shop at payer lebar tried to sell a FR haya for 16k..which i think is ridiculous...but the condition is realli gd...

Most or I should say by now, all have overcome these problems. That's the main idea when initially I gathered all the busa owners in sg some 2 years ago. Earlier pages of this thread, SOMEONE mention, "It's going to be like grandlink." I don't know what it means. This person never identify himself and is obviously not aware what is going on and trying to act smart. A '99 busa now should cost somewhere around $13k plus on the road. PM me if you are really keen.
