hi skyhaven,

why would u wan to do edit your ecu when u yet to get your ride??

 

strongly suggest u to use PCV unless u have strong knowledge of engine management. otherwise, it is quite "pain in the azz" also u need a dyno machine for the ecu editor.. quite impossible do it it "live"

 

i would like to knw whether can it be flash successfully... n if yes then maybe i will continue doing more research on it.. but if it can't. then i juz gv up n concentrate on other things on the bike..

cos generally the map there is on the richer side. with the set up shld be ok but better to tune it again.

i'm quite sure his tune is totally off now... and probably the online map can't really do much... his setup is quite unique now..

 

considering High comp gasket + high lift cam, choked by the stock headers with legal endcans... i wouldn't be surprised that a stock bike is more powerful than it now...

thats what the man said he feels the tuning now too rich and it consume too much petrol thats why he wans to retune leaner :faint: and BTW the online maps all junk.... use then lagi worst.

becos most of the maps are done/tune in other countries, the AFR here will be totally wrong..

interesting topic.....

 

so for the above, what is the best possible solution ~

i. dyno (baseline)

ii. retune (or remap)

iii. re-dyno (final)

 

if the bike has PC3 running on it, will it help?

Yah. Those maps online are diff. U got to get a custom tune in singapore due to the humidity in air. I believe u will get a better fuel milage after a good tune. :cheeky:

Juz have in mind about having both High cam High com....so bro kaieiru if i juz have one of those do i need to upgrade the header?Where can i do to upsize the header....SengKwang??

i would only think of having 2.5" at the mid pipe. nt at the header.

juz a word of advise...

this was from some who advise me too...

 

various aftermarket exhaust maker spend much time on their R&D in calc the air tubulance within the pipe, the resonant and the flow of it...

dun think SK does much research area, but end of day it is ur $ n u got the final says :)
