I find EBC HH okay but I ran 40+k km on stock pad. Will try other brand next. @carbine is the brake pad man. He should have a better answer for you.

i used to tap the brake lever and the effect came. now i press near to throttle then the effect only came.

I went to change the master pump kit with new bleeding today but all to waste as it is still the same.

alas.

any better suggestion..

WOW WOW WEE,its been a while........... Heading to Krabi on Oct?

I miss those big fat prawns in Newton.YUMMY

Regarding your problem,i faced before. For mine it's the technique of bleeding. That mechanic of yours must not take shortcuts in order for the air bubbles trapped inside your brake fluid to be removed thouroughly.

Next, did your mechanic check your brake calipers pistons whether every individual of them function correctly?

Hi Merchanary, thanks for all your replies. I'm torn to choose between EBC or stock. Haiz...

No point getting stock. Somehow I don't even think the agent stock up on stock brake pad. And 99% rider never use back stock pad. EBC HH is easier to source locally.

U riding Gen 1 or 2 ? Coz IMHO Gen 1's 6 pot brake caliper like cannot make it on my bike. So i change to a K6 gixxer fork + radial mount calipers and RCS 19 brake pump. Braking power have been amazing.

able to fit into your lower triple clamps?

Update guys !

Tried my bike for a few days already. So far still running good. Tink the problem been solve already.

Things i've done:

-Change 4 plug coil

-Change 4 plugs

-Change TPS

-Service fuel pump

-By pass side stand switch

-Service gear sensor

-Reflash ECU

-Sync throttle body (Once remove everything then realise throttle body still in sync. -_-)

But i tink the problem lies wif the gear sensor and ECU.

Thanks to everyone for the input and helping me with the problem ! :thumb:

let me know if you wanna check for gear position sensor problem, i just did mine last weekend

Most shops should be able to do the servcing. Personally I go to Bikeworkz cause it near my house. Or you may want to meet up with some fellow Gen 1 riders and try their braking before deciding. I'm riding gen 2, so can't comment too much on stock gen 1 braking.

if stock gen 2 braking is 7.5/10

stock gen 1 braking is like 5/10

Thanks for the replies. Does every bike shop sell the stock pads? Or do I need to order from agent?

Shall wait for carbine reply then...

@kinwei not a expert, just had tried some diff brands thats all :)

@Avenged dun use the stock pads bro, they suck :p

2 of the more common brands- EBC & Braking

some pple like EBCs

some pple like Braking

i feel Braking CM55 more bite, but cant last as long as EBC HH

if you are an aggressive rider, they won't satisfy you because the busa is simply too heavy

den u might consider changing SS lines/pump/rotor/caliper

change the pads first, followed by SS lines/pump/rotor/caliper, for best ROI hahaha

i'm using the EBC HH now, first half of the pad life is good but after that will gradually become like stock pads, next set will be trying on Carbone Lorraine C42

So far my personal preference has been Carbone Lorraine/Vesrah SRJL, the latter being expensive thats stopping me from getting them(was quoted $360)

search this thread for brakepads might help...

Nope. I have a piece of metal shim at each side of the clamp.

Juz serviced the gear sensor. Now the gear indicator is very accurate !

Anyone know whether the throttle tube can be modified ? I know can change R6 de but i juz wanna make it smoother. Seems like when juz open a bit of throttle, those kind that juz enough to make the bike move, the bike like very torquey leh.

Yup. Did it at bikeworkz. But seems to be working good.

I always been using playlife grip leh. But seems like lower gear the throttle like ''have, dun have"like that leh. Unless open more throttle then the feeling gone.

TRE works by fooling the ECU that your bike is at a certain predetermined gear. This way, you can use a more advance ignition timing of a higher gear at the lower gear. So you get a faster reving bike at the low end. However it comes at a trade off. When you do this, the ECU will also use the higher gear mapping, usually richer, at the lower gear. Another way of explaining is the mapping is not suitable for low end.

So this is where the O2 sensor comes into the picture. Since the lower gear mapping have become richer, the O2 sensor will help by auto adjusting the mapping to the preset AFR range.

You can also consider thicker grip. Turn more for less, in another way. But you must have big hands to appreciate it. I'm using Oury grip for mountain bike one. Thicker and comfy.

I saw an article teaching how to modify the current throttle tube to become a semi fast throttle. Just tie a very small cable tie inside the grove where the throttle cable sit on. But how good, I'm not sure.
