When you reach reserve, go slow and steady because when you doing a bend, fuel salvation can shock you or even "Buang" during high speed. :goodluck:

hmm.. noted this point.. i too refrain from hard throttle and rev not abt 3 whilst on reserve.

But exactly how far can our busa travel once on reserve?

I realise many Busa riders are floating around in different places ... we should all united as one. Some are shy and some got internal issues ... Lets bygone be bygone ... ... We should try gather togather again.

Hear many crap stories ... Personally I don't give a damn what happened, afterall they are just electronic messaging.

At least we try ... ... If still don't workout ... that speaks a lot about that person. :p

Well ... different person, different character, different pattern, different habits, different thinking, different maturity, different blah blah blah ...... like quite difficult hor.

If everyone willing to give and take and like you mentioned let Let bygones be bygone then i think i treat you dinner lah, hehehe

160 machines are made 98 (not in singapore), launch in early 99. Mass production was then launched non stop at the later part after they had revised from the super powerful spec.

99/00 is detuned with a lower lobe cam degree and shorter duration that causes the well known "Tensioner" problems. At 2001 model onwards, problems was rectified. This is just one of the spec they changed to detune and meet the authority.

99/00 is also well known for clutch housing crack, 4-1 exhaust cause subframe crack, insufficient oil supply pump up to engine head, filteration problems leads to injector problems, fuel pump problems etc and etc ... ... I am not trying to scare you, as for local riders they are fine, mostly happen in ang-mos countries due to hard wacking, fuel octance different, amostpheric and climate differences etc and etc ... ...

In late 2003, Suzuki Japan said they had got all wrap up. :p

Hello

Hehehe. Its the 'eee...' sound issue again. Never fails to bug the hell out of new busa riders. Mine is a 05 model too. When u switch on the ignition, you'll hear this 'system initializing hweeee...' sound where u see all the needles doin their sweep across the face of the dials. Start the engine n theres still this slightly audible 'eeee'. Its perfectly normal. In fact it sounds sweet to me.

And congrats to u n glen too. A bike u would enjoy much it is. :goodluck:

like wad newbusa said.. this problem neva fails to re-surface over n over again.

Anyway, dun worry abt the eeee sound as like wad newbusa has said, its perfectly normal. It'll go away after sometime.

I reckon tat the sound is from some electronics initialising.. hahahaha..

anyway, congrats too on ur new falcon!

i'm riding a K5 busa too..
