Hi gentlemen, I'm choosing between the MTS, F800GS and KTM adv 990. Just to see anyone of you also having some problem with which bike to invent into? Will be going touring with it. Anyone been to Thailand or off road with it? Will the smaller front wheel give some problem when going off road? What win your heart over all other bikes and setter down with this beauty?

thank you.

Hi BullMoo,

Cannot comment on much..havent taken it off road yet, but I reckon it is not a serious off roader. Trails should be fine. In anycase for real oof roading u will need knobby tyres. I've only compared it to a GS1200...and I think if u r going to be riding a lot on roads, the MTS will make u a happier person. That own me over plus the bike looks a lot "sexier" and has an electronic setup for the S version. U can change riding modes on the fly. Suspension adjustments can be made too loads other than urself, though for this to happen u shud be stationary. Like I said before, there is no prefect mahine esp when it comes to an Italian make. So you gotto know what u want prior. I hope this helps
