just wondering if anyone had similar experience. i wanted to test out and buy an alpinestar shoe and asked the salesperson at regina if i could go to the showroom to choose and try them out. the person told me that i cannot go into the showroom and can only choose from the brochure and he will bring the shoe over. i jokingly said that they built such a nice showroom but wont let customers in? he did not reply. i asked him if there was a salesperson at the showroom who could help me, he did not reply. after bringing me the wrong size shoe, he disappeared and i was kept waiting. i then walked over the showroom and saw him entertaining a few nicely dressed customers who were trying out shoes. i was a little upset and when the salesperson saw me waiting outside the locked (always locked) showroom, he merely hand gestured to me that they were close. by this time, i got pretty upset and insisted he open the door. i then asked him if my money was not good enough and walked away...

 

sigh! i have been their customer for quite some time. now i dont think i will want to buy from them anymore. maybe it was the way i was dressed.

VIP only!? they have a nice showroom facing the road, all glass for everyone to see, a big OPEN neon sign but the doors are always locked and no one will open the door for u... unless u are a VIP.... how sad and arrogant

with you riding 1 of your signature bikes, they also nv let you in? then i really wonder who are the VIP staff.. maybe only foreigners?

bought a helmet from regina last year, try XL size just nice then i ask for a new 1.

 

then nvr test the new helmet on and went home.

 

found out they given me the wrong size. the box put XL and helmet inside the size is L.

 

go back exhange, they said my size dun hav... zzz

i am sure you know the boss if you have been a regular customer, just feedback to him regarding this issue loh.

i know them for donkey years, generally they are nice folks. most likely the reason for not letting another customer is becoz they are short of hands and worry about shop lifting... be cool ok;)

Yup..in there could be messy. Another reason that I can think of is, most of them are only browsing. Unless you show them the money, then maybe they allow you to enter.

 

Have entered there twice...of coz buying something. And me no VIP. They are also shorthanded.

 

Anyway choosing from the catalog is not much diff then getting from there. Unless one does not know what one wants.

actually choosing from a catalogue is very different from seeing the actual product. what appears in a catalogue can actually look quite different in the "flesh". thats why buying online can sometimes be a risky affair. well, anyway, thats just one person's opinion. was prepared to give them the benefit of the doubt (that they are shorthanded, etc.) but I guess telling a customer they are not allowed in (or saying it is only for VIPs) is not the best way to explain you are shorthanded.

Depends la. I bought my bike last year wearing my old JC P.E. shorts but was entertained.

 

Maybe because same skin colour.
