If you google Pedu Lake, it says 5km from border of Thailand. Well I am not particular about big or small cc. As long as we can come to a common understanding, I believe we will do just fine. Well, my number is 97265881. Let's talk over coffee and discuss this further if you are keen.

at first i thought it is in Johor but to my shock it is in Kedah

very close to Sadao / hadyai

 

it's a very big lake

got resort

 

i think no activity other then golfing

 

just go there relaxs

get fresh ozygen

 

good relaxation

 

eat a lot

eat chicken rendang

Guys, Pedu Lake was the nicest lake in Peninsular Malaysia (IMO). First visited there during recce trip in 2001, before leading a biking group there soon after. Lots of fond memories

 

Give the place a skip, seriously. At least for now. More abt it here, . I noe it's too long, but just read the gist at Para 1, 8 & 9 . While there, look for the pix taken at the road sign in RED, it clearly mentioned abt the routes.

 

Alternatively, you can visit Tasik Raban (Raban Lake) instead (shown at the later pixs there) ... but Pedu Lake was still the best; It was soooo tranquil http://209.85.117.195/10250/106/0/e5366//e5366.gif

since pedu lake roads dangerous and resort closed

how about changing plans to endau-rompin - tasik chini ?

last yr I been there while driving to Betong, Siam.

 

actually, this lake fits for picnic and lepak 3 hours.

 

I looking for endau rompin style. ....overnight in jungle and nearby lake.

Try Tasik Banding, it hv a couple of places to stay, one of them is an eco resort (but I never stay there, but another resort instead). Lots of nature activities.

Tasik Cini is ok, got some activities in the day, but for the nite, IMO ones need a bunch fun kakis to occupied the time

 

Tasik Bera, personally I give this a skip; unless you are a sheer nature luving n enjoying the nature serenade all day long

 

Tasik Kenyir is too Commercialized, but perhaps some laid back resort may worth a try

As I am on a long holiday, I can ride any day, any time. Depending on my mood and the feel of the KTM.

 

Normally I ride on weekdays and usually start off at around 3am. This way, I will avoid K.L rush in the morning should I have to go through K.L. Anyway, I always love the sunrise in Malaysia.

 

I think i will go to Tasik Chini for a day ride since it is not that far. Anyone wanna go along? Maybe on a Wednesday if not Saturday. Dial me up 97265881 to meet and get organised.

I know how that feels. Luckily when I came back from Brasil, I told why wife this is what I am going to do till I am tired of it. Riding. Just Riding. Where i end up is not a concern. If i get lost, that's where the fun starts.

 

So, wanaero, are you in for the Tasik Chini ride? Which day is good for you? Wednesday or Saturday?

Well bunny_hui, I think you mean experience. What I can say is, the ride itself will be an experience for you if this is your 1st time. Of course you can come along.

 

Up till now, I have not received any calls or sms from those interested. Just have to go alone again I guess.
