thks for the reply.

I meant the steelmate, as I am already using the Xena which can be a bit too sensitive.

The Xena may sound unnecessary, this I suspect cound be due to poor angle placement on the disc OR the sensor is also influenced by cars locking mechanism.

personally i used both xena and steelmate before.

initially i was using xena.

i aint gonna say that it is not good, just that i find it not enough? moreover, the alarm gets a bit too sensitive at times, even when i am placing it at the so called "least sensitive" direction.

the high pitch alarm can be annoying when in the middle of the night, no one is near the bike and it goes on and on.

another thing i hate about the xena is that every time i unlock the xena, it sure sounds... and everyone will look at me... "

i am now using the steelmate.

it is still a tad bit sensitive but the good thing is that the occurrence is lesser now? and the sensitivity is more correct, as in most times either someone really very close to my bike, or some heavy vehicle move into the lot beside.

another good thing is when pple touch my bike, within working distance, the alarm will vibrate and sound.

its easy to tell which gives me the more sound of mind. =) the steelmate.

but then again, i would say, based on budget and needs, others might prefer the xena.

my $0.02.
