you are right abt anything more than 5.8k rpm is lose licence zone but thats part of the thrill... more blind spots to check (for big white bikes)

Last night on way home some piece of plastic or fibreglass landedon my header pipes. Now there is some melted on it. Smell of burning plastic everytime I stop at lights.

 

Anyone know how to get rid of it? Prob got to wait for the pipes to cool then scrape it off

Scrap while cold may scratch ur pipe. I would try the reverse, heat it hot and clean will lot of fiber free cloth. If there is some residue left over, can try axebrand medical oil.

Did the "make the pipes hot" technique, then used a cloth to remove whatever possible. got most of it off but now the pipe is like a shade brown.

 

Probably got to send the headers for polishing or something to get the "shine" back

I thing the shaded brown are normal for steel pipe, my header are now all browish and with black patches too.
