right now saving money for top box, then frame sliders. whichever i can afford first. next will be side panniers. Engine guard not at the moment

Think saw at hong Leong, cost 3 or 4 hunder + can't remember. Personally think it's very ulgy.

Frame sliders should be good enough and maybe a longer belly pan. Cant decide which frame slider to get yet

$300-400 for a engine guard.. that's expensive.. looks like e frame sliders are a better alternative n friendly to the pockets also.

Heart pain, got knocked down from the rear while turning into work earlier. Barely 2weeks on e motorcycle. Going to send bike to workshop tmr morning. Does anyone know the process of insurance claim from e other party?

Just tell the workshop u wat to claim the other party. They may want u to claim ur own first then later claim back from other party, it best not to agreed to this arrangement.

its been a long day, from going to the hospital to get an x-ray, lodging a police report. Going to Orix to report acccident to insurance and finally to the workshop.

Infd me, to make appointment with a solicitor to make third-party claim which i will be doing tomorrow.

 

The crappy part, it will probably take a month or so to get the results of the claim and repair the bike. Hopefully, it will look brand new.. Less that 3 weeks on the road and a stupid taxi had to knocked me from behind.

 

Can't wait for this to be over and done with...

If it's a clear cut case normally will be quite fast. As long as no injury it's good enough. Ride safe as now is 7th month

hmmm and sickening ahpeks on bicycles who jaywalks....once had to jam brake coz b*&(*#^$(# suddenly crossed the road on his bicycle. Skidded and the frame sliders saved my legs, the bike and the resale price. The best thing he pretended nothing happened and cycled away. Ride safe bro....SG ppl on the road don gif 2 hoots abt vehicles....sadly bikes are always the receiving end. we get no protection and cant claim for pedestrians.

ya i'm fine just bruises here n there but it will heal, 7yrs on the road without any accidents and this ah pek had choose this particular moment when i just got a new bike.. I hope the driver gets penalized by TP for this.

btw any bros already run in? how's the FC? also does putting in synthetic engine oil make any diff to the fuel consumption compared to mineral?
