ya, the exhaust pipe is very unique.. still got about 600km more to go for the first oil change.

really looking forward to finishing the running in process. but the bike does got hot quite easily. may be tempted to try a different coolant for the bike.

Ya.. Its been either raining heavily or a hot sunny day. But today seems like a good hot day to play arnd with e bike. The BT021 tires seems pretty good except it does take a while to get warmed up. Gonna change oil next week..

Just wondering is it possible to fit a 180 sized rear tyre?

If I'm not wrong our rim size can't fit 180 tire.

The BT201s are pretty ok so far. not that i want to throw corners or anything. But got to be a little careful o wet roads. I had to do an emergency brake recently and the rear wheel locked, slided a little released the brake and got control again. Im more a fan of Dunlops

I'm getting ard 21 to 23 km/liter. F is the full fairings version which I thing SG don't bring in. The original frame is $430 and givi box $65 (36L).

we are not exactly a clan :cheeky:. My FC abt 20 to 22 km per liter. I can reach abt 250 km before hitting reserve. very conservative on the throttle cos no chance to go more than 9k rpm. Run in is done but will change to full synthetic b4 going more than 9k rpm.

can I ask where you get the quote for the Givi box?

Until now, how you guys feel about the ride? People are still comparing with Fazer 600, but I do believe there's a better side of each bike. So what's your review on XJ6?

-handling

-seat (comfortable during long ride)

-acceleration

etc...

bike is a machine without soul, rider would inject new life and character to this machine

mind ask how much you spend on the rack and box?

OK good, comfortable seat and responsive engine above 5,000RPM... any more good or bad point you would like to share?

box n rack Fix at hong Leong Damage $430.

Good point, bike is unique and low cost maintaince. Power wise good enough for sg road.

Bad point, personally feel the engine a bit noisy under 5k n can't do hard cornering.

Good for me : Light, easy to handle, pipe and bike VERY unique. Perfect for daily commuting. Enough power for stop and go traffic and even ery comfortable on highway between 5-6krpm. That is already 100 km/h.

Bad point for me : Racks/panniers abit ex. Pipe could be louder (there are available mods for the stock pipe). gets hot in slow traffic but thats yammy for you:thumb:
