suzuki intruder

i ride an intruder. always like this bike. bought it recently. Rode it for less than 1 mth, battery died on me last week. too heavy to jump start on my own without a slope. had it towed. now at workshop, will spray it cream color (thought of classic black but almost all the intruder i see are black), prob add crash bar as position of brake and gear is not friendly for tall people like me. shop told me that crash bar will come with foot rest and not i what i wanted - to extend position of brake and gear, something like this:
