Not to that extreme..When you install a really good genuine performance CDi, always run the bike with short distance ride and check the colour of the plug. Make sure no sign of airfuel mixture too lean. Else it will kill of your piston or your plug.

OH.. thanks Bro... Aniting i will ask u if i wanna change a cdi...

bike small. Tire small. No ABS. Braking power not strong. Why do you want to go so fast for? Wanna taste speed, get proper bike to do it. For your safety and for everyone else too

Just hope to educate the young ones (P-plater, few months riding experience) riders. Yesterday as i going to Bukit Merah to collect my X1R. i saw 3 P-Platers on 3 different locations. I was so worried about them

1st P-Plater - Riding a Honda Sp. He is on lane 1 PIE (Changi to tuas, kallang area). I passed by him on lane 2 at 90km/h (honda wave). God knows what speed he is riding. When i look back at my mirror, i saw him riding at the inner right side of lane 1. Yes! Inner right side near to the central divider! I think he wants to give way to the vehicles behind. Man....i really sweat for him

2nd P-Plater - Riding a Yamaha Spark. PIE-Adam exit. He is carrying a pillion. Riding with both his side mirror fully close. He executed all his lane change without signal. 90% of the time from lane 2-1-2-1-2-1. Zigzagging. He love to check his blind spot on the floor too.

3rd P-Plater - Riding a RXZ. He is on lane 1. I am on lane 2. After the lane change to green, he double-triple on his throttle and lane change from 1-3 at one go. No signal. No blind spot checking. He must have thought no one can catch up with his fast acceleration hence its very safe to do abrupt lane changing.

With good CDI , I cannot always ride at low speed or I need to regularly Hi-revving ?

Let's not RUSH into things , be it the long highway or the tooopid jam .

Does it mean I need to do regular hi-revving or it's save for me to just ride at low speeds ? Cuz I only rev when out with frens ..

=)

Since the part is no longer on my bike, its ok to talk about it... My bike engine just blew... Was running a 66mm block 3mm raised pin on my spark.... Hehehe... had it done in Feb and it just died on me last 2 weeks... With cams and CDI, it was the bomb... But reliability wise its not there.... CDI alone is not enuff... About the regular hi-revving.... Engine stock only cdi... no need to over rev ah... all bikes are not made to be over revved... hehehe....

Shoya, on the track and beyond,

we will always follow your lines.
