guys.. im thinking of installing box for my bike.

 

anyone can advice? like prices, type of box.

 

i got no idea when it comes to box

 

i hope to put 2 helmets in the box and maybe a rain coat.

 

2 helmets should be those normal helmets.

 

maybe can fit 1 ff 1 open face helmet too?

 

and i never lube my chain. how do i go about doing it?

2 open helmet...then raincoat squeeze inside helmet, I think 46L should do the job. if fu/full face + 1 open face i think need 48 or 56L liao. but 56L will be very big for your spark. brand wise cheaper 1 will be like givi or zeus. i think ah... box + rack might set you back by $150-200.

 

as for your chain, put your bike on main stand then use chain lube spray at the chain, turn your wheel and repeat process loh.

If box alone it shouldnt be expensive, belo $100 can get. Depends on what brand and how many litres And also that comes with brakelight anot..

 

If spray too much chainlube, u will get a dirty, hard to remove stains on the rims...

my bike originally comes with a givi simply box. After i bought my full face helmet, i spend quite a long time figuring out how to put open face and full face inside the box. Takes some nice positioning and a bit of force to keep it closed. Hard to fit in may be due to evo2 shape. That's why even when i got box i usually only bring one helmet...everytime need do the positioning troublesome

I rather put helmet in box too...just that the positioning of the helmets takes much patience.

I have so many box because I wan to feel unrestricted when riding...and not restricted by bike items when not riding.

My gf bought me a rjays tourtech for my birthday...now I'm wondering if my Simply has enough space to put 1 FF and one FF-open up.
