[CDC] Class 2B (2010)

Fwahhh... all like rich leh can buy new bike, moi budget only 2k machine price, so only 2nd hand.

 

hahaha same la. i oso aiming around 2k+ so 2nd hand bike is the way to go!

ya i think i haf to brush up road experience first before attempting to go all the way to ntu. but walao, 1.5 hours public transport can really killlllll.

 

not to mention the sbs bus u take from boonlay interchange to ntu is insanely long q every single schooling day. lol. mine isn't any better with squeezing with the NP students. i take an hour-1.5h depends on the jam and the number of buses i need to miss due to fully packed to go sch hahaha.

ya at 830 u can totally spend up to 45mins from boon lay interchange to NTU. not to mention everyone in the morning face is sian 1/2 one u see alr oso sian 1/2. ive a friend at sim oso and he lives in sengkang. he say the bus ride from sengkang to sim if u take a bowl and collect saliva all the way when reach the bowl will be full already hahaha.

On my side, TP has too many students and too few buses with too few frequencies. Only now TP started operating a few more shuttle buses, but still SBS frequencies are still terrible.

Yeah, I totally understand your situation man.. but fortunately I am able to secure a place in one of the halls. Travelling to and fro school and home is really exhausting, especially if you have trainings in school during the holidays. I just got my license and bike but still not too comfortable with riding long distance

@fion12: yups safety first. wad ya studying in ntu man? and ya, gotta agree CDC has quite sub-par customer service standards. honestly if it weren't the nearest driving center from home i wldn even consider going back to cdc.

Try to throttle more, clutch at biting point, then release brake.

zzz finished my drt lessons and prac8 but i still cant book TP thanks to the screwed up computer system. now call customer service operator oso not much use cause if u guys ever tried calling the CSO u shd remember hearing a very unmotivated and lazy lady voice from the other side.

whatever it is make sure u got spare cash to set aside for maintenance in case your bike dont friend you. lol !

Ya rwr is big! I called up Roy from CKA. He said there are 2 second hand RWR 5.8k machine price. But only 6mth warranty.

The 2yr warranty for new RWR is tempting...
