actually i wanted to sell it off after my uni days too cause i won't need it for work but i don't want to worry my loved ones too so ya they have the best interests for me also.

What I heard is there will be 2 possible test routes and for any given test day TP will pick which one you need to do. The first test route will be the current one (U-turn at paya lebar road). I believe the second test route will start the same as the current one but instead of filter lane turn left into airport road, we will turn right on airport road and go towards eunos link.

 

Very, very annoying, this is the second test route change since I did my lessons 6/7/8

 

Ooh,another test route. Interesting that now got multiple test routes. No wonder back then instructor told us that it's better to take the test back then, as TP will be adding more things. I thought the EFC was all there is.

 

The "MRT Track" actually is the Bartley Viaduct. From CDC that side to Braddell in 5-10 mins.

anyways back to my first thread ever in sbf, i'm letting go my cbr150r already cause i have committed to my family and gf to quit riding. haha. oh boy cause they are constantly worried abt me when im out with my bike haha! not too nice and today while visiting my dad who was in the hospital i saw a guy who had bike accident got injured really bad and doesn't really want to end up one day as him. but i will still go for my cls 2A and class 2 i think. haha!

 

if anyone is interested in my bike its up for grab in garage.

But cnt imagine my X1R without box, all the stuff dunno where to put...

box is so ugly! but good for daily transport la i can't imagine my bike with box.. quite ugly haha but with box also doesnt look too funny for cbr150. next time old alr then buy big bike to play with if got spare cash hahaha.

I agree, it looks like crap on CBR150... Kup looks fine.

 

When get 2A and bike, then will take it to track.

 

Been riding around for 1 month now, intending to get HJC CL-ST from MotoWorld.

I think those bags you put on top of the tank looks okay. box is just.. well, ah pek. haha. My first (ideal) helmet would be the along the Scorpion EX series. The mouth part of the HJC CL-ST doesn't really look appealing to me... reminds me of... you know those fighter jet pilots hahahaha. it protrudes out abit.

To each of his own, I find the fighter jet style kinda cool

 

Scorpion Helmets don't come cheap, not sure if they have PSB label in SG.

 

I personally go for cheaper helmets before upgrading so I can appreciate the quality better... haha

hahaha my pulsar also came with 42L box, but i took it out myself already.. i jus don like boxes! hahaha maybe next time den put it up when i more sian of the bike. thinking of getting the small pouch above the tank to put my insurance, road tax and stuff.. but don feel like wasting money also.

 

on a side note, the fuel for pulsar is just.. quite sick compared to my SP. this few days keep travelling around 100km a day and the tank is still full on the meter. opened up the tank and peeped into the fuel and oh goddddd, it jus doesnt move.. its like powered by kinetic energy or something. jus doesnt eat fuel lol.

yupyup! power right. I bought on 8th February and I travel to NTU nearly everyday. From then till now I only pump 3 times LOL. But be careful though, not too sure about ur bike but, my bike the fuel gauge will drop quite fast after it starts moving off the F. So like a bit inaccurate the gauge. Follow your odometer mileage more accurate. Pulsar180 should be no problem 500km per tank minus reserve.

didn't clear first try, can't clear the plank :x

 

You can try to

1. grip fuel tank

2. maintain eye contact beyond / end the plank

3. throttle more till your 1st wheel is onto the plank

4. easy throttle

5. lean a little left/ right to correct the position of bike

6. Do not look down, maintain eye contact beyond the plank till it ends.

tough journey for me.. took first lesson at bbdc 7 years ago...

 

i took 7 years to pass my class 2b....

 

and i thought my "1 year plus close to 2 years" was already long enough. =/ heh. had my bike pract 1 in 09', stopped for around 10 months after which i continued to pract 6. stopped for another 6 months before continuing pract 7 and am now at pract 8. lol... just missed my drt lesson 3 today. damn.

Hi Everyone, been here for some time, but was on a riding-learning stalemate the past 5 months. Was learning at SSDC previously and had trouble progressing at each lessons, so in the end got sian and stopped till my enrollment expired without me knowing. Enrolled at CDC on 18th March and cleared my 2B Prac 3 this morning (Cheers to all learners who passed Prac3 with me this morning!). So far I feel that I am more directed at CDC and am progressing quite smoothly, probably with a little bit of experience. Will be doing my best to clear 2B asap so I can start riding. Anyone going for Prac 4 soon?

I Just enrolled myself to CDC driving centre for a Class 2b lessons. All in all, my experience hasnt be that great, which is indeed a sad thing to experience. My motivation/morale has been on a dive down plunge.

 

Is CDC trying to make money out from it? I perceive that there are always 2 parts for a lesson, hence, meaning to say, the first time on that particular lesson, you're bound to fail which is frustrating and demoralising. It has happen to me for the pass 2 lessons... Everyone in the group also experience this 'ride'... and i only notice people whom come back for their 2nd trial pass it.

 

So how can I avoid this problem or should i just file a complain to the feedback box/mail?

I did pass lessons on my first attempt before...

 

still, just take it as more practice... don't be demoralised ok?
