i guess the anti smokin ban hasnt really affected our usual hangouts yet. hope it'll stay this way.

We'll probably feel the full effect on 1st July 2007, when the ban hits pubs and clubs as well. As it is, I've heard many comments from people saying that they like the smoke-less environment in cafes and coffeeshops.

 

Be prepared for the time when we got to cram ourselves into one tiny yellow box and puff away. Reminds me of the time in NS..

I've this crazy idea:

When we run out of cafes and lounges to smoke a cigar in comfort, we pack a drink, buy a portable canvas chair, and hunt down reservoirs, nature reserves, beaches; Where we can allow the carbon dioxide emanating from our lit cigars to be processed into oxygen by the plants around us (albeit during the day, of course).

 

Hell, I feel like trying this out even before the full ban starts!

Only thing is the humidity and the mosquito bites we have to endure.

 

Actually KM8 at sentosa is really not too bad on a weekend evening.

As usual, I would try one fresh out of the box before deciding to mature, to continue smoking or to throw (joking)

Appearance : Slightly veiny wrapper with oily sheen.

Draw : Perfect

Burn : perfect

Aroma : Classic Habana (no distinction)

Construction : Good with beautiful ash rings

ASh: Dark GRey (signifying young age)

Base flavor : Woody with hints of expresso, some leather

Body: Medium 3/5

Strength: Medium 3/5

Finish : Medium Long

 

Other comments: Bitterness from the start, which cleared up after the first inch. Depth of flavor highest at mid point. Ash held up only about 1.25 inches. Bite a little on the tongue due to age. Can sense the flavors holding back. Felt it was better tasting than the latest Muralla which I tried a few months ago during launch.
