Put in aircon room to lower the humidity but then where will your cigars go?

haha, the main problem is my room has no air con, need to leave in my parent's room to lower the humid, and after storing the cigar, there's quite strong cigar smell inside the box, although i like the smell, but my parent dont...

i still can keep my cigar in tupperware, then open my parent's air con on weekend afternoon to lower my humidor's humid, haha... :cheeky:

Sev, its not the "Power Ranger". The "Power Ranger" is a shorter cigar with a higher nicotine content guaranteed to knock anyone out, thus the nickname "Power Ranger". I smoked the D'Chateu something something. Can't remember the full name. It's wrapped by a thin layer of cedar lining and a red ribbon at the foot of the cigar.

As I told Throttle, Opus X's have a "dried chilli" character when you smell it and a hint of raisins. Very different from most non-flavoured cigars.

I wasn't really in the mood to differentiate the taste of the cigar when I was smoking it so can't give a very detailed review. What I can say is that its a very well-made cigar. No veins, perfect draw (used a puncher), fantastic burn even with a light breeze. The famed "nicotine kick" of an Opus X was apparent even though I only smoked through two thirds of the cigar over 2 hours.

Taste-wise, the first inch was bland, disappointing even. After that, the flavours satrted coming out. There's a light spiciness throughout the smoke, rather delightful and not overwhelming to the palette. I can't really describe the base notes of the cigar cos I wasn't really paying attention and its quite hard to describe (its not woody, not meaty, not nutty, not beany). A rather enjoyable smoke, though I would say, as I told Throttle, I would rather spend the $100 on three Partagas Serie Ps.

So overall, a good smoke, but not value for money, unless you manage to get it at a good price or just want to sample it once.

I reserved another Salomon to smoke with you , Entity.
