tonite i'll be attending Omara Portuondo's Flor de Amor Concert at the Esplanade. Omara is from the Beuna Vista Social Club originating from Cuba.

 

Many of the original singers from this club have passed away.....

Compay Segundo, Ruben Gonzales, Ibrahim Ferrer to name a few.

Omara is already in her mid 70s and still belts out sentimental cuba hits more powerful than a singer half her age......

 

the point is, after all that mix of dreamy and salsa cuban music, i'll definitely be swayed to do a smoke.

how many do you guys do a week on average?

i'm doing around 5 - 7 a week so i smoke about a box a month.

this is almost double of what i smoked last year which was 2 - 4 a week.

its definitely fun! esp if smokin wif a bunch of frenz... haha

 

try checkin out oaks at taka. they're got a wide range of cigars... prices quite ok too. think throttle rated the cigar shops in this thread b4... u might wanna check them out.
