so HJC is kinda ok for my requirement? i dun ask for great wind-noise reduction, juz not so loud till my ear-drums still "ringing" after i come to a stop.

i ask about HJC is oso bcos of the trade-in promo at motoworld.

with a budget of $200 for 2 FF helmets... you only have one option, trade in 2 helmets for 2 CL-ST FF helmets.

 

$100 per helmet, is a good bang for buck helmet. realistically, you cannot ask for much on a $100 -$150 helmet... performance and quality sure cannot be as good as above $300 FF helmets...

yup. i saw the promo started since dis year jan if i din wrongly... oredi posted my questions on their thread in SBF.

maybe going down on dis saturday ba....

yup, i truly understand dat. i can tolerate ear drum "ringing" for awhile after stopping but not for few hours.

as long as its reasonable, i'll accept it. anyway, more or less i've decided to get the HJC if they have stock. try it once myself. if its not acceptable, i'll use it on sg road road only and try to get another better 1 next year.

bro u asked only about CL-ST izzit? ask about FG-15 too, if they still selling it at 'clear stock' price i believe might just fit your budget.

OGK aeroblade? forget about that helmet... not good at all... heavy, loud wind noise and poor ventilation. the CL-ST is better than that cumbersome aeroblade...

actually i dont really think using a full face to check blind spot is any harder leh. I rmb when i was a noob taking cl 2b.

 

i told him

"sir check blindspot like abit hard leh. cos my neck abit too fat."

 

his reply was...

 

"you fat i know, but you can lean slightly forward, and check ur blind spot..."

 

he showed it to me, and i find it uber effective. even now, i using HJC FF flipup with mesh jacket tgt with the padded shoulder also no problems. i guess its all boils down to the technique?

while watching the traffic go pass while i wait for my tow truck, i notice that more and more riders are donning FF helmets..
