POWER

LOOKS

HANDLING

0-100km/h 3.6sec.

MOst of the Hornets riders In this NEst

Were Former S4 Owners.

Don't Think They will be going back to the S4.

http://www.sportrider.com/bikes/146-0204-919-1.jpg

Comment from Dealer:

If HOnda Comes out with a 400cc Hornet.

S4 demand will drop drastically...

Guess it is also a class2A thing.

It is also a de-tune race engine.

That means droping the high end torque giving

the street rider a lot of pwr low & mid range.

Maybe the Former S4 riders now Hornets RIder care to comment...

CHARITY RIDE

We had a great time giving the Kids

Rides around the Compound.

We then had a go at each other's bike.

That's when they found out that my Bike is diving into

the Turn. :giddy:

Further check by the guys found that the front tyre was

under pressure!:cheeky:

They eventually found a nail embedded in the tyre.

Had the tyre pump up & bike no longer dive when cornering.

THKS GUYS!

Can't imagine a tyre burst While Riding.

Owe u One!

Next round of drinks... I'm buying.

(can the guys pm me your email/hp... like to sent u your pics)

Heading towards the Tyre shop now.

Was able to Patch up Hole in Tyre...

$5 at Teo Spray.

Says:

Front Tyre Pressur: 25 m/N

Back Tyre: 30 m/N.

Andrew was telling me... 22 Front/27 Back.

Chi Yen.. What's on the Bike Manual? for the H900:confused:

Ride seems Good Though.

No wonder handling was a little sluggish.

(Check Your Pressure Guys...

...Ya, blood & air)

:cheeky:

Thks Joe.

Will check out the bridgestone tyres.

Should be changing my tyres soon.

Good tip on the Balancing... Guy repair without removing tyre.

Know anywhere near that can do it.

Don't think Car tyre shops know how to detach bike Wheels...

Can anyone tell me if it's worth to buy a hornet 250? I used to ride a v-tec but not so sure abt hornets. Is it easy to sell it off later on cause I'll be using the bike only for a few mths and selling it off cause migrating to USA next year. the specs are almost similar to v-tec but scared if it's hard to sell.

Don't tell me U miss me...causeIknowUdo!

Alan, i'm running 250 kpa front and 290 kpa rear, but i'm still using the stock michelin hi-aces... that's also what the manual suggests.

btw: i seem to be losing maybe 15-20 kpa every week and a half from my tires, wonder if that's normal...

Alvin: any news on that crash bar? can get cheap cheap a bit?

Thks Chi Yen.

Don't Think 15-20kpa a per 10days is normal.

Check for nails or small holes.

Guess I'll have to include pressure checks during pump up.

Will try the recommended Pressure Settings.

And give feed back.

 :cheeky: :sian:

Bike Feel Good with the Recommended Pressure.

Will Keep 250/290 for a while...:thumb:

U May Want to Check out the Hornet 900F

$18K Brand New! (2K More)

http://www.honda.co.uk/motorcycles/en/picture/product/HORNET_CB900/Gallery/prd_Traditional_CB900.gal1_2.gif

Raw power

The Hornet CB900F has a formidable powerplant. Derived from the legendary 1998 CBR900RR FireBlade, the Hornet's engine has been specially modified for 'naked' use. With more emphasis on its feeling of acceleration and low-to-mid-range grunt rather than the traditional high-revving performance demanded by an all-out Super Sports machine.

Mono-backbone frame

A design feature of the Hornet CB900F's frame is its emphasis on 'feel'. Rather than being designed to convey a feeling of silky-smooth operation, the frame is tuned to emphasise the engine's sensations of sound, rhythm and power.

Sturdy suspension

The high performance suspension system of the Hornet CB900F delivers a superb balance of roll and yaw characteristics. You can lean deep into corners confidently, learning from the feedback of the direct handling.

Comfortable control

Featuring a similar seat height to that of the Hornet CB600, the Hornet CB900F's riding position is as comfortable and easy-going as its performance is thrilling.

The Hornet image

The Hornet CB900F features the trademarks of a narrow waist and muscularly curvaceous fuel tank. Its sleek aero tail now fans out to encompass a set of menacing, dual 'under seat' exhaust silencers. This combination of slim proportions and dual shotgun pipes strongly emphasises the Hornet CB900F's high performance potential.

The new 2004 Hornet CB900F is a light and powerful 'super naked' machine, with breathtaking yet effortless performance.

Need I Say Anymore! :cheer: :bouncefire: :cheer: :bouncefire:
