Yeah - wish more AD riders would come and say something here.

Lucky you, sounds like you've got a reliable machine.

Yup, what you heard may be right cause all the mechanics I've come across who've seen my AD200 seem to all say that it's a Taiwanese 'Sym' engine after having a look at it.

As for the 3-wheel AD200, dicussed previously on this thread:

No he's right. Saw this online.

http://www.adiva.it/newsite/eng/pop/a3.html

Did MAH say how much?

Cheers.

But recently, it's no longer on show anymore - heard that they tried it out and decided not to go ahead because of "...the turning..." or something as such.

No wonder when i saw the exhaust of the AD200, it remind me so much of my old ride ( SYM Joyride '02) cc is the same too 171.2

Was wondering what is the topspeed like?

Yup, mechanics who are familiar with servicing scooters, especially Syms should be able to do the AD200.

Topspeed around 95km/h - thereafter it gets pretty wonky.

Based on ur statement can i say a comfortable cruising top is 95km/h and if one is "garang" enough to squeeze some more juice it should be able to pull out more top right?

Am highly considering to swicth to AD200 for it's function and feature plus the big fuel tank and storage but was worry that i may loosse major performance drop over my current ride.

Yes, why not, totally agree, lets arrange for that and post a meet-up session before the year end - yet another 'project' to be done, but a happy one :)

hahaha... Great. Do share wth us when you collect your ride.

Do remember NOT to ride beyond 60km/h while you run in your new ride.

Change EO after the first 1000km, the 2nd 1000km and the 3rd 1000km.

Then you are done with the run-in. :)

Well, at least this is what my bike shop mechanic told me. :)

Saw a silver coloured Adiva travelling on Lornie Road towards city at around 4:59pm to 5:00pm this afternoon.

I was travelling on my Adiva with my wife, travelling on Lornie Road towards AMK.

Guys first thing does ur engine logo lights up during self check (ignition on)?

Does any of ur pillion complains about their helmet keeps hitting the rear roof frame? I remove the roof completely to solve it.

So far i am getting about ~28km/l which is the similar to my pass SYM (Joyride & GTS)

Yah, my wife said very comfortable, can lean back somemore. :cheeky:

But I was very scared when I was riding back from AMK to Queenstown last night at around 9pm.

She became all silent along Lornie Road, just after MacRitche Reservoir.

I was so scared that she fell asleep behind due to the comfortness... lolz... :cheeky:

Cheers. :)

Yes, I think the engine logo DOES NOT light up during the self-check when I first switched on.

But then again, I may be wrong. I will go double-check this evening after I finish work and about to ride home. :)

Fwah... FC = 28km/L. :thumb:

That is almost 1.9X to 2X the FC of my previous ride.

But then again, I am wrong in comparing a CL 2 ride with a CL 2B ride. :)

Sorry. :)

Hi, dzqv53,

Apologies, I have checked this evening when I was about to ride home.

The engine logo DOES NOT light up when I turn on the switch.

Think perhaps Mr Chewbacca may have a better for you.

If not, perhaps you may want to send your ride for a "check-up" soon.

Hi bros, yup - my engine icon (the red one) used to light up evey now and again - the mechanic at Mah told me that it's ok and it will go away after a while if there is nothing wrong (acts up usually when the engine is hot) - however, if it does stay on - do bring it in for a check.

Also keep a lookout for the 'service' word on your screen - if it stays on after starting up your engine, it usually means that something might be amiss. The last time this happened on mine - turned out that one of my rear lights was blown out and the brake switch also needed fixing.

Do use the service of mechanics who are familiar with our type of scooter - it'll save you the hassle of having to answer too many questions.

hahahaha...

Actually have accessories such as a horizontal Adiva "belt" for fastening the goods on the pillion seat. But not like those diagonal car seat-belt.

Guess this horizontal goods fastening belt can act like a "seat-belt" too securing the pillion across the chest...

Finally rode in the rain yesterday afternoon with my wife.

I asked her at traffic lights junction during red-lights, whether she is wet or not. She said not at all, only a little bit wet on the side of her legs.

As for myself, I am only wet on my ankles and below, esp my toes, as I was wearing sandals and got wet only when I put both my legs down on the floor during stopping.

Upzz for this rain-sheltered ride...

Raining heavily today...

Rode to office with rain-caots.

When reached the B1 car-park of my office buidling, the car-park floor was very wet...

When I was turning right, the whole bike skidded... It happened so fast for me to re-act to put down my legs.

Right-sided rear view mirror became loose. My front wind-shield became loose...

Worse of all, some paint came off near to the word "Adiva" on the right side...

Rider escaped unhurt.

Got to send my ride to the work-shop this evening...

Brothers and sisters, do ride safe in the car-parks, esp with the wet floorings.

:(oH mAN! So, sorry to hear about this bro - but relieved that you're ok.

Scooters and Phantoms are so like that with wet floors! This so-called 'anti-slip' layer in many carparks are actually more of a hazard than help!!!

Bro, how'd you manage to pick your ride up since it was so bulky?
