Ignition Loose

I was riding along the highway few days back and suddenly the engine just cut off. Pull over to the shoulder and tried the ignition knob but no lights indication. Tried a few more times on the ignitino turn knob and the lights came back and manage to start the engine and ride all the way back. Yesterday when try to start the bike again notice the ignition turn knob was not having any contact which I think may be the cause. Try shifting a bit after turning it and found contact point was loose as the lights on the Netrual green light flashes.
