RXZ block- exhaust screw thread

any kind soul.. my block, at the exhaust, there r 2 threading wif screw fixed to the block; which is for the exhaust pipe to go in to, one of the screw fell off..

temporary, iv used a bolt to secure the exhaust pipe to the block.. iv got info that threadin can remedy the prob.. an1 noes how much roughly..?

carbon is leakin cos it doesnt secure properly..

go to hardware shop to buy thread making tap...less than $10,, a set..

bring your bolt to ensure correct size..

 

if u dont know how to do it...let me show u how...

R u refering to the threaded stud in the block, the nut fell off?? or the threaded stud fell off....

R u refering to the tap hole in the blk???

if one of the screw drop off then most likely you're looking for an exhaust stud. at most also sgd 1.00, you need to ride down to ah boy, let your bike cool off then take out the existing stud bring to bolt & nut shop behind ah boy coffee shop & yr're good to go!

Borrow the soldering iron, iron holder, drill bits etc. Good times, good times...

Cheaper than that sia. I went to get 6 machine screws with washers, 2 bolts and nuts for 80 cents.

mine lagi best lah...tat time "skate scooter" just introduce in SG...we make our own during DnT project time.using waste wood..test ride a few times..DM see....go Detention..hahahahz...

well guys iv checked prices for doin this..

at singapore most workshops... around 70-80 bucks..

At JB around 60RM..

both take out block..

change gasket linkin the bottom engine..

well.. DIY.. depends on how gud my workmanship is!

tat time was sec 4...doing project for DnT O level...teacher go for lunch...we are the "expert"

 

wat soo hard...plenty of waste wood...a few loong screws...battery operated screw driver...coaster wheels..n hahahaz...detention class in the end..
