Anyone has deals for HondaLine top box for ST13?

 

Any comments (pros & cons) for the HondaLine 45l top box, as compared to Givi Maxia 55l top box?

 

personally, the hondaline topbox is for aesthetics only. i simply love the look of stx with the hondaline topbox.

Considering the pros & cons of each.. Any advise/comments?

 

HondaLine 45l Top Box:

- Price is about SGD 850 (incl shipping & installation)

- Colour coded

- Box sits lower

- Dedicated base plate

- Fits 2 full face helmets

- Ability to install spoiler with brake light

- Comfortable backrest (optional arm rest)

- Uneven base on inside of box, requires mat to place items evenly

- Top lid is secured by strings when opened, can be fully opened flat 190 degrees

 

 

Givi Maxia 55l Top Box:

- Price is about SGD 600 (incl shipping & installation)

- Able to purchase colour coded top lids

- Box sits slightly higher

- Universal base plate for Givi Monokey boxes

- Fits 2 full face helmets

- Ability to install brake light

- Able to purchase a small backrest

- Flat base on inside of box, easier to place helmets

- Top lid is secured by metal hinges when opened, can only open to 90 degrees

My friends mentioned that my Hondaline top box vibrates much more than my friend's Givi (we both ride STX1300). Turns out the Givi has a thicker base plate, which may be the issue.

 

But definitely nicer.

You go to 219 shop and to paste a new layer of sticker on it. can choose level of tint too.

 

Pardon the late reply, need to remove prior coating?

Terence, u can sell your bike ard 20k... cos a FBD plate st is selling at 20k otr at bike shop. The bike condition is 5/10 to me... high mileage as well... so you can fetch a higher price I suppose... cheers!:D

helibar gen3 bar risers

Honda full wind deflectors

Ermax tinted windshield

Ventura headlight protector

K&N air filter

Sergeant seat

Bagster tankbra

Progressive rear shock

Hepco Becker tail rack

Etc...

 

Got other mods which is done as well... feel free to msg me at 93620710 for kopi ya.. ride safe.... :thumbup:

Hello guys.. I just collected my st1300 just now. The mech at d shop informed.me that engine oil change should be done at every 3000km. I find that too often. Help me out with this please.

Hmm.. for me i change at 5000km.. stx is a tourer not a high rev sportsbike.. so i dont think we need to change so often.. when i was riding sportsbikes i would change at 3000km.. but once i switch to tourers, its always 5000km.. jus my 2 cents.. :)

hi guys, got a few stx stuff for sale.

 

1. BRAND NEW Front Fender Extenda- sold

 

2. BRAND NEW High Flow Fuel Systems fuel pump- $160 (bought this as a spare just in case. a complete original honda pump is $600 plus, this is just the fuel pump and is not difficult to replace if your fuel pump is spoilt)

 

3. Used, but in great condition, wind deflectors to fit under your mirrors- $100

 

4. Magnetic engine oil drain nut- $20 (there is a magnet attached to the bottom of this nut so that minute metal pieces won't be moving around and causing unnecessary wear in your engine)

hi stx13 riders.. few queries on the bike.

Is the bike some sort of diy friendly on minor stuff? eg. can the spark plug, fuse, light blub easily replace by oneself?

Is there any recommended schedule mileage servicing for this bike? eg, valve adjustment or timing belt replacement? other than normal engine and shaft oil change.

Pls kindly advice me as i am interested to get one.
