Can I buy a malaysian plate motocycle in malaysia? What do i need to produce?

One thing for sure is that you can't ride that bike in Sg if you've really purchased it.

If i remember correctly, SGreans are nt allowed to operate foreign-registered vehicles in SG..

 

coz in dat case, might as well i sell off my spark and get a LC135 ryte? Den can mod to my heart's content LOL

I dont plan to ride back to singapore. Just ride in malaysia. I haven't call LTA but why would LTA be concerned with Malaysia regulation?

the malaysia's bikeshop will sell, normally they will ask for full cash.

I supposed some reasons and proof including purpose of residency is required to purchase and register as the owner of the bike including of getting the insurance done.

unless u haf a v v valid reason. eg lyk working in msia etc etc

in malaysia, you can do anything la, as long as dont get caught.

 

they will sell you, full cash settlement, but you ride it with no insurance and such, and when you caught, bad news for you.

 

but then again, ask them la, dont ask you dont know also.

yes.. thats right.. its a case by case basis as i know people who managed to get approval and people who didnt manage.

#12 is talking about whether can ride in singapore which i'm not concerned about. I'm more interested in whether can ride in malaysia anot. Asked a shop just now but he say can buy bike and insurance. Just dunoo what will happen if i get into accident.
