Any riders ever done up re wiring the WHOLE bike....?????

name ur bike and cost of the re wiring.

Me riding @t.

Tot of rewiring but dunno where and who to consult...

Any recommendation ?

:help:

Don't rewiring, change to a new harness wiring.

The harness wiring runs from your headlight to your taillamp. Basically it is a thick chuck of cables with smaller cables branching out along the length. At the end of these small cables are connectors that connect to the various electrical system on the bike. It's plug and play but there is alot of work in stripping the bike to route the harness wiring nicely.

I had a very bad experience, even though the mechanic came with a huge reputation.

different brands, different quality. if u look closely, some tapes haf shiny surface while others r matt. matt one r more streatchable but not as lasting.

you can use duct tape, it's not the best but it's affordable. Do not use those $1.50 a reel electrical tape which will lose it's adhesive after a while.

You want real good stuff, get this but they don't come cheap :

So which is it? Duct tape or electrical tape? Duct tape is like the cloth type..The ones they use in movies for tying up the victims of kidnapping..Ahaha..

i use electrical tape cos duct tape is hard to remove if u need to do anything else.. but i agree that electrical tape stickiness doesnt last that long.. also depends on alot of factors like heat, rain, sun etc ...

just get those $0.60 black tape to use..
