i've been searching for touring jackets recently and found some really interesting sites that i wanna share..

http://www.motoin.de/

https://www.motorcyclecenter.com

the brands they carry are like tour master, fieldsheer, revit, held etc.. because of the lower exchange rate now.. i think it's a lot better to get them in at a fraction of what you should be paying..

tourmaster have good ventilation jackets and revit sirocco is a well-ventilated jacket.. :)

i bought a leather jacket, perforated. It is super cooling, IMO, it is more cooling than a mesh jacket. bought it off a fellow rider from here. looks good and feels good. somemore is full leather. :D and its cheap! only like $150. the thickness of the leather is just enough, not too much like for track that kind.

Any brand/model info to share? And as vyruz mentioned, is there any form of armour, soft padding or other protection?

Thanks, I tried some of the jackets at kaki bukit branch today. But stock are limited for the cheaper models. They are clearing stock now. I haven't been to the lavender branch yet, any idea if they have more options compared to kaki bukit?

My experience was that Kaki Bukit had more models available, but if you're looking for cheaper options, it's worth checking out both - especially for models on clearance.

are you using it for local riding or oversea touring? there are many types of mesh jackets and more expensive one like airflo by astars... do a search and buy the best within your means... i used to own a rjays jacket but has since upgraded... rjays fit all you bills. and from my experience, quite durable. owned it for 5 yrs and been to many trips with me and with the mesh material, it is cooling when riding in singapore. most, if not all, the models come with inner rain liner and is water resistance and take note not 100% waterproof... tested and proven :p....

I am selling the revolutionary and world-renowned patented Motoair Airbag Jacket. This jacket was given to me as a gift and has never been worn (OK, well I did try it on in front of the mirror). I've checked with the agents and confirmed that this jacket costs $450 but I am letting it go for $350! This jacket is a black European size S and will easily fit a typical Asian M/L. More info can be found at the Singapore agent site: http://www.airbagjacket.com.sg/index.php?page=shop.product_details&flypage=flypage.tpl&product_id=13&category_id=1&option=com_virtuemart&Itemid=90

Give me a shout if you might be interested!

  • Some minimum protection for elbow, shoulder and back
  • Able to withstand light shower
  • Breatheable (as we all know, SG 'sso hot)
  • Affordable (Around $150 range ?)
  • Durable

I hear mesh jacket are the more cooling one as compare to the other material

Are the material tough ?!

I bought the Komine mesh jacket at Motoworld at $150. Light grey and black colour combi. It was so much cooler I bought a 2nd pair. Of cse in Spore weather, even riding stark naked, one will still perspire under our beautiful warm weather. No regrets buying the Komine brand. It's better than the damn normal jacker w no mesh at all. The Harley riders must be suffering wearing their leather jackets in Spore...looks good but suffer ah babe..

Am actually looking at Rjays Octane Series.

Does it fits the requirement that i'm actually looking at ?!|

Or is there some other jackets, you guys would recommend ?

Thanks in advance. :cheeky:
