need help with modifications & mechanic for bajaj (vespa)

does anyone know where i can change the handle bar and the gear system for the vespa/bajaj? i recently bought a second hand bike and i think there's a problem with the clutch or gear changing system and it changes gear without me clutching in. just twist the handle and it'll change gear. any idea whats' wrong? is it the lambretta? can i just change the whole handle bar to settle the problem?

 

also, anyone knows where i can get a rear frame added so that i can add a rattan basket? i'm still a student so i'm looking for an affordable mechanic. heard the ones at tong aik are way too expensive!

Check your cables adjustment see if they are loose. Check your Gear Selector which is on the Back right bottom of your engine. See if its worn out.

eh the cables not loose but i can't tell if the gear selector is worn out though. if i were to change it, how much would it cost me? the previous owner told me that i should just change the handle bar which will cost me abt $200. he said that will solve the gear/clutch problem.
