Tire-wise, u may also wan to consider michelin 2CTs. i personally find them pretty grippy

Outing-wise, stay tuned......

Aie, what made you have two different tyre brands for front and rear? Is there an advantage of having this combination? All along i thought its better to have same brand for the whole set.

i was riding past rochor canal, just after Sim Lim Sq and spotted a bike accessory shop (orange colour sign). The name was blocked by a strategically placed wall though. Has anyone been there? Is it a good place to get accessories?

:p

Sportmax D208 ? It's slightly softer than BT014 , if it's for me I would put

the Dunlop behind and BT at the front ... the front might steer lighter and the

rear more grippy ... dun know correct or not

Let the good times roll .

Use Maxxis SuperMaxx lo. So damn cheap now.

 Kambing is witness to the tires as well.

It's not advisable to use two tires of different make on your bike.

Because each brand and each tire has their own unique carcass and compound.

The handling of your bike will be affected. Remember, the only contact between your bike and the tarmac is those two black round rubbers.

No lah. The front tyre was the only second hand tyre available when I went to change my previous BT014 front botak tyre. I thought it would be a waste if I got a brand new one cos my rear tyre is used but not botak yet. So changed to 2nd hand one and the next tyre change, I will change both to new ones. Handling wise, still OK with me. Not much difference when using two different tyre brands.

The bike accessories shop you are referring to is the Motoworld Boutique bikeshop. They have lots of bike accessories there... :thumb:
