finally u gt ur bike bro keke....see when free go ridding ba.whr u stay?

I live in Bishan, but I don't see many R1 riders around my area, except for my neighbour who rides an R6 '06.

Recently, I spotted a red/white R1 '99 with Blue lights in my area. The guy who doesn't turn on headlights at night and uses hard-to-see Blue strobe lights. I'd like to say this, "Please turn on your damn head lights!" Becos when I was crossing the road one night, I didn't see your bike!

Just wondering. Carburettor bike valve clearance and EFI bike valve clearance any difference or not? Cos I've just sent mine for valve clearance and it costs me $250... :giddy:

First learn stand, then learn fly. Nature's rules biker-sans. Not mine...

yo GR1Y!

Hmm.. may I know which shop does all the above for that price?

that expat sell u cheap? or his bike comes with alot of stuff?

there is something which i would wanna hear your opinions, do you guys take into consideration who the previous owners were before u decided to buy the bike? like for example expat, teachers, lady owners fall under the category will not heisitate to spend tons of $ taking care of the bike. wat do u guys think? and why some sellers will put their occupation when selling their bikes? can fetch a higher price? easy transaction?

The general stereotype is tat expats will spare no expense at maintaining the bike. Though i think it more in terms of low-mileage due to under-utilizing.

As for female owners, i have my reservations :p

emm .... sum of U saw my bike Saturday.

Actually I bought it bcoz when I saw it first I fall in luv. My considerations then were:

1.) Year of Manufacture

2.) Milage

3.) Condition -w/o doubt the previous owner did take care a lot

For my point of view, seller occupation is out of my check list when buying a bike.my main concern is the price....then as follow

a) compare seller price to market price,

b) aga ratio how much to spend to rebuilt the bike to standart condition upon viewing

c) then neg reasonable buying price with seller.

Oh ya...appearance is very important, doubt any 1 will buy a hi BHP bike with very dirty out look...see liao shiok then can buy mah...see dirty then sian 1/2 liao

hi pple, i have a question to ask, have u guys feel any dryness when running ur engine? cuz i feel da e engine is vv dry n rough, can any 1 enlighten mi with dis problem? i jz change my engine oil mths ago.issit bcuz or e engine oil? i did lune my chain as well.[/QUOT]

It hard to determine what the problem, from that.

Our suzuki engine tend to be on the rough side when you blow it, as for dryness, i cant make out what that really mean.

Are you running on low viscosity oil? like 5w40? And how long has you been running on this oil? All the while riding in SG?

is like when i ride, i can feel da e engine is dry, and at time e idle drop again. i m using Maxima extra. so which engine u guys using is better for e engine??

My opinion..

1) how much you like it..?

2) sports bike are meant to be whacked so as long it's maintain fairly well then ok

3) never met with any serious accidents
