The header is stainless steel. But from what I can see, the header will still rust. Dunno why. I noticed out mid pipe tend to become yellowish from the heat. But I notice a Honda F4i mid pipe have a nice rainbow colour. Dunno isit out exhaust material is of inferior material grade.

The F4i change mid-pipe?

 

Titanium will change colour to the one which u describe under extreme whacking condition...I still trying very hard to change mine akra end..

 

Heard from Seng Kwang the other time i went, the reason that our midpipe change colour is becos of the blockage in our stock muffler..If we continue using it and whack every now and den, it will become black..

 

Well, maybe sooner or later we will have to change our stomach..

haha.. actually juz require 0.5hrs for the can to change colour.

i warm up while sitting too....told by a mechanic from N1 performance

 

I usually move off at 60 degrees, but meng tong say 50 can liao

 

neway abt the tre, i ask meng tong abt it n he say not advisable to use for normal street riding

Was told by a guy who rode his g1 for few years, he say all da long he warm up bike till around 45 then move off liao.. Nothing much diff. Anyway i guess i will follow tat.

 

Waited damn long to reach 55 or 65 sial.. bei tahan bei tahan ~~

 

 

Wheels2: oh ya, urs also stock bike? TEKA n PC is 2 diff kind of tuning huh? TRE not good meh? Wad about grounding? Old bikes need grounding... Might feel the diff. For those 04/05 bikes i think they fix liao also cant feel anything. Ask ur mech leh... heeheee..

i think it applies for pc lar...if you got pc then dont put TRE.....

Spark plug fouled today, bike sounded blogish..Went to Unity to change plugs to Denso normal types..Cost me $54.

 

Maybe going for Teka mapping soon. Because mech say my mixture a bit rich. those that didn't foul were all black at the tip.

 

Got quoted $100 for Dyno Teka compared to normal Teka..

 

Mech said something about TEKA not able to fine tune 10% throttle and below. Then from 0 to 4-5Krpm, TEKA would not be effective.

 

Anyone got lobang for TEKA mapping?

I think Looi's do the same service. I recommend go to Looi's, they have a dyno and a very reputable and trustworthy mech who fiddles alot with gsxr's.

I bought it for $160 2nd hand. 1st hand cost ard 200 odd. The brand is called oxford. It can be used as a back pack.

It will depend if you know the mech . If you know him, he can do wonder on your bike.
