Aiyo i donno lah.. U itchi gimme hint who u r.. Btw u not only champion LV salesman, u also sepang supersport champion in 2005.. U not only teach me how to fix exhaust, u also teach me how to be a champion rider.. Guess now u already upgrade to 1000cc latest yummy lah :cheeky:

its more like the gum was applied from the outside

 

maybe later i will pay a visit to Mr Charles Burn and see if he removed my engine already, then i take pictures of the front and back of my engine.

wont crack open de la....gasket is still there only gum abit funny.the dull tone is the gasket.Rev throttle then feel with hand see got air leak bo then see got EO leak bo.if all dun ve then to be safe,go back ask them redo ba

...emm .... what wud I do when am home now? .... sure wud go to ECP to have a breakfast at CoffeeBean around 10 to 11 AM .... this actually my Sunday favorite .... sitting there watching the skaters, jggers etc ....

if that part leak? u wont hv air ... ur engine oil and maybe coolent will burst out under high temp and compression...

 

when all oil is out, whole pistons will jam and entire engine cease and bike can scrape liao

Hi Shauz,

 

Dont be afraid to do 520 conversion.. As long as its a rivet type 520, and properly rivet with correct riveting tools then it will be fine.. Do NOT fix the clip type.. Usually when doin a conversion, most will opt for the DID ERV3 chain.. This chain, ive personally use and eventho at high rpm most of the time, ive never do adjustment of the tension.

 

When using 520, there will be more options for sprocket size.. Then, if u often go riding with Mr. KAMBING, UP the rear by 2-3 wud help make life easier for u.. hehehe.. :cheeky: Or else on the safe side, stick to stock gear ratio wud be my best advice for the R1..:thumb:

 

Doctor, i got a question

for 520 conversion, from what i heard, its usually used for lower cc bikes, and for higher cc bikes, there is a better "model" for sale, which cost around $180. is that so?

actually i'm looking at doing a 16/46 using AFAM sprocket but not sure of a suitable chain. any advice?

Ehh.....if im not wrong,cam cover aka rocket cover gasket failure,EO leak will b noticed on the left side.then engine will sound much noisy.i juz change my 01 cam cover in April07 at Bikewerkz due rare case of internal corrosion.but will coolant b out too??thought the water pump has a seal set pipping tat block off the eo??

Aiya.. Just open my clinic.. U the first PATIENT for 2day..:p

 

As for 520 chain conversion for superbikes, we usually opt for the DID ERV chain.. And yes it cost arnd $180 at motoworld.. 16/46?? Dat will make ur gear ratio 2.875.. Stock is 17/45 (2.647).. Its gonna be a sudden increase.. Be nice with the throttle if u gonna go for the 16/46.. I would just opt for 17/46 instead..

 

Ok, for the above consultation, i charge u 5lap ride on ur bike at pg..:cheeky:

the shop is big enough to hold a multi-million dollar case with me if they choose to sue me
